I'm planning to retire at 59 in another country outside the US that is free, safe and very cheap with a high quality of life and good healthcare. I could fully just rely on only my SS if I wanted to when that times arrives but l'll also have at least one pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific Investment account with my Stephanie Stiefel my FA. Retiring comfortably in the US these days is almost impossible

Working in a farm field is a great job for an American citizen teenager. It also build character for the rest of their life.. I’m retired now but when I was a teenager and in my early 20s, I painted houses and did a lot of labor work before I moved on got educated and worked in IT. It was a great character building experience and found foundation for the rest of my life..

I am a Democrat and i agree that we need to make sure that the people coming into our country are vetted. I used to live in Australia and New Zealand and I had to have visas and be cleared. I dont agree tho with the rhetoric that all immigrants, legal or illegal in the USA are criminals. Most Immigrants do not commit crimes BECAUSE they do not want to be deported. They also pay into our social programs, of which, they cannot receive those benefits. I believe the only immigrants tRump is talking about deporting, are those that are NOT white. I know WHITE immigrants also and I bet he wont go after them. I mean really, he has been married to two immigrants and Elon is also an Immigrant BUT they are WHITE. WE are NOT fools, we know what he is trying to do.

As a veteran, and a current Union Carpenter, I can tell you with 100% certainty that there are plenty of US born, non immigrants more than willing to do the work of manual labor. There are people on these sites well into their 50's and 60's who come here and perform manual labor jobs. Part of the issue(in my opinion) is having incentivised an entire generation of youngers to college to get degrees that are being done away with and are largely useless. So in essence, no....there's no desire to be in the trades cause many are waiting for their big break in whatever field they decided to study.

I worked at McDonald’s when I was a kid. Every single employee was either a teenager or a retiree. The restaurant thrived .. let’s return to that model please. ❤ ICE.
