It’s not “Quiet Quitting” it’s “Working your wage”.

I have sacrificed my physical and mental health by being an overachiever in the workforce for 25 years because I was told the lie that I would be successful and get ahead. Yet, I was just given more work for no reward even when I asked for appropriate compensation. I’m not doing that anymore. I’m doing exactly what my job role entails. I like my current job and where I work. It’s hard to get fired in my current company, so even doing my job as written on paper, I’m still doing more than others.

Quiet Quitting was a term coined by the “no one wants to work anymore” crowd. There is nothing wrong with working your wage.

when your boss has kept giving you commitments of salary raises or promotions but turns out continuously using excuses to put off them, then it is time to be a quiet quitter because you are 100% sure that even if you put more effort, the company would just take it for granted, so it is time to move on. Do not let the company take advantage of you. Loyalty of employment is built upon bilateral respect.

@Shaannooonn

Imagine burning out your employees and then calling them quiet quitters

@roomofcybertron6380

I'm not a quiet quitter, i'm a workaholic. Which makes quiet quitters take advantage of me and that's not a good thing.

Great content. Appreciate your insights.

I feel this is me but honestly I’ve just thought it’s burnout. I feel unappreciated at work. Like no matter how hard I work and try and put in, the more I’m unappreciated. Other peers have gotten promoted, praised, gotten raises, etc and they’re doing half the work I do and at lesser quality. Meanwhile when I try to get promoted, I’m just told I’m not ready.
I’m tired of the situation.

@kawhiiee

I’m in group two for sure. I am starting to not respect my manager and his leadership. So now I’m quiet quitting doing the bare minimum and setting boundaries until I come up with an exit plan which I already have just need to execute at this point.

I was quite quitting, now I just quit 😂
