As a pro, you probably don’t need this, but for people clipping long nails at home, I found something that helps, especially for cats or paw shy dogs. First I mark all the cut lines on every nail with a Sharpie. Then I don’t have to worry about cutting the quick. Especially for anybody who is nervous (human or animal), it’s easier if deciding where to cut and seeing where to cut don’t have to happen at the same time.
•If you look and mark first, then you can see exactly where to clip even if the paw is moving. It’s easier on everybody. If the nails are black, I use a metallic Sharpie. 💙🐾💙

I adopted a rescue shelter pup that was GSD/Golden Retriever mix, his coat was so similar. He shed 24/7 365 days. My house was just tumbleweeds of dog hair for 12 years. He passed away 7 years ago, but his fur still appears when I use the air con in the car he used to ride in.

@Nozempje516

I didn't think Kingston was so neurotic! He was a bit nervous initially probably due to "everything new and unfamiliar". After a short while he was absolutely fine. I think he would have been ok with the hose nozzle and he wasn't bothered by the dryer at all. For the most part he exhibited calm in his eyes and body. Kudos to you Vanessa. Next time he'll be a pro!

@carmencampbell6994

LOL that face when the dryer hits the right spot. Angels sing, clouds part and the sun shines. AHHHH ah AHHHH 🎶🎶

@Sister_Felinity_Imaculata

That face and body language after the happy hoodie and the start of blow drying, and the slow realization that he actually likes it.

@Riann13

You can definitely tell that by the end of his groom he had calmed down and was starting to enjoy it once he realized it wasn't a bad experience; just a new one. Your calm, confident handling of him helped reassure him that it was ok to relax and that a new situation isn't a scary one. He did amazing for his first professional groom ❤

@AZHITW

One of our Shepherds shed like this, the birds loved landing on him and gathering his fur tufts for nesting material, and he allowed them to because he was raised with a Gamble's quail, and he saw birds as his buddies not something to chase.

@wendyodell356

He's a beautiful specimen of a German Shepherd 😍 It appears his owner is older and probably is a 1st time owner of this magnificent breed. This dog has probably not been given a leadership role and just a loving house pet. This gentleman had a great dog with an excellent temperament ❤
German Shepherds practically train themselves if given the right instruction.

@carolineindacityphx

Such a smart dog. At time stamp 18:58 Kingston stands up so that GWTD can dry his back end! Amazing! Kingston is such a good boy. Even though Vanessa didn't say it, please come again. ❤

@heartfelt-jks

I would lowkey love to see a video of how you clean your shop!! It's crazy seeing all that fur stuck on the walls and furnado-ing in the air, and I assume it's in every corner and crevice, but your shop always looks so clean at the beginning of every video!

@monkeybarmonkeyman

This is why we GSD owners call them German Shedders 🙂 17:40 Such a regal look of acceptance!

@cindylouwho9348

What a beautiful dog! He was such a good boy! He really wanted to hate the dryer but it kept finding all those pleasure spots he liked!

@FelisTerras

"He doesn't like his paws touched."
Kingston; "I'm a gonna be the biggest drama queen in the shower and a total zen legend for the manicure."
But he's such a sweet, gorgeous boy🥰 🥰🥰🥰

@bruresende

The marketing team failed to advertise this puppy. This is a perfect angel, no matter what they say.

@MargaretCutt-um8iq

ALL of my Grrman Shepherds shed like that. Their hind quarters were constantly shedding but they molted...I could pull tufts out of them all the time. I.miss them all so much.

@kristinewells961

Oh he was just the best boy!!!
And my hands just itched to pull out those big clumps of hair!!!!!!!
Amazing job!🌟❤️🌟

@paulettemiller5066

What a beautiful boy! He looked so pathetic at the beginning of the blow dry! It made me laugh. I wish we had a blow dryer at home for our shepherd, the shedding never ends! Good job!

@amixeblu

During shedding season, but not exclusively, we had tumbleweeds blowing over the floor every single day, and we vacuumed every single day. My shepherd had the same coat as this cool dude. I still loved that dog to bits, no matter how challenging.

@chantiemaya

His face with the happy hoody made laugh out loud 🤣 Do. Not. Want. But he accepted his fate. You really managed to make him calm down, what a good boy <3
