I like these chill style Jesus talks while doing a mundane tasks. Gives it a feel of just living out the bible in day to day life
Mate this was nicely put. You know one of the things we miss when the bible is read, without really any meditation, is the freedom we have as believers. Scripture reveals so much about our freedom that its easily missed if there is little to no meditation, great stuff Lee
Thankyou for your korero Lee. When I was waiting on God for an answer, I would go off and search other podcasters for an answer. Why, because God took too long. Because of that, I have adopted a legalistic/religious mindset. It's just so complicated. So before following you, I had unsubscribed from all these other teachings. You know the ones, the how-to ones. I realize after some time, that God moves differently in each of our lives and their revelation, experience or their breakthrough is not going to be the same revelation, experience or breakthrough for me. Took a while for me to see that. So now that I got rid of the excess, going back to the easy way, I hear from God more and it is effortless. So thankyou Father, thankyou Lee for this confirmation. Keeping it simple, that's what I like.. God Bless you Lee and your beautiful family. May God prosper you and bless the works of your hands❤😊
Yes I too would love to be advised/ taught from God rather than man. There are too many denominations that have opposing views in their understanding of the meaning of scripture. I can't always grasp understanding on my own but from personal experience, my journey of learning from the church has led to much confusion and contradiction. I spent four years of intense bible study from Jehovah's witnesses & although I did learn a lot I was apprehensive about becoming baptised as a witness & I had completed their what does the bible really teach book, been to every twice weekly meetings & personal bible study but it just didn't feel quite right. Then seventh day Adventists again left me with more questions. You tube content was very informative but again contradicted previous learnings. Eventually I drifted away from religion totally . I have been missing my father so am in a period of isolation and begun a journey back to him trying to hear him and let him lead me without the influence of the church. Thankfully he knows our heart & so knows I have a genuine desire to understand his word but ultimately just want to know him. I like your content because it is very much like my chats with him. I like the walk & talk with him.
Awesome point Lee Will share with my brothers and sisters Blessings
Sooo good Lee. Thank you! ❤
I think Christians say “it’s all in God’s hand” in order to disengage. Disengage entering the suffering of a fellow believer and being moved to act with compassion. Disengage from conversations that come from one wrestling with God on the hard questions(why did my child die? Why is there war? Etc); disengage from changing our behavior, disengage from the work of sanctification, disengage from doing what we can and should do in the environment we find ourselves in; and finally to disengage from this messy life. 13:38
Love these talks bro, i love cleaning too and was listening to this while doing dishes lol. But love these talks, it feels healthy.
Again friend thank you for your content it's very chill and helpful in me and mines journey with the King. We got baptized today which was an eye opener and the warmth 😮. God is good even on my terribly worst days. Coming back to simplicity in Christ is soo much fun and now things don't feel like a chore. Much like washing and cooking. One thing I most admire about you is that you don't default by saying like, share and subscribe. Genuine
Well this is shockingly true I’ll have to listen to it again tomorrow write to down and discuss it with my other questions Friends too, as well praying and discovering
Lee,I m really enjoying your videos....u r so down to earth and being so practical with Jesus....to God b the Glory!!!
Good point... Good discernment Brother. Have to say I was dubious about your intentions with the title of this courageously bold message. Glad I witnessed your heart here. So true we are in deep friendship with Yeshua. I love whats happening in you with Yeshua and I thank Him for you and your family. 💦🐢🕊💦 Be of good courage I salute you.
New ro your channel and I am enjoying your conversations with us. I believe God gave us free will but God also has the ability to course correct when we stray from our life path. Thank you for your time and wisdom 🙏
Ooh glad you made note of the differences of sovereignty!! I thought I was wrong to think something wasn't right when I'd hear Christians say God is in full control etc but now hearing this has been helpful and gives me confidence to question and search the Word more. Thanks Lee God bless
Thanks @leemalaulau ! Keep sharing these nuggets of revelation with us. Love the raw honesty and authenticity with which you share. Bless you brother and hugs to your kids. 🙏🏻🙂 (On another note: In terms of the afterlife - they seem to hope that God will have 'mercy' on them and allow them into heaven based on good works etc... but I explained that the choice we make here before our last breath is what will determine our eternity.)
Lee, thank you for your clarity in explaining this—so helpful! I’m new to your channel and I just want to encourage you and Gods work in you!
I'm really enjoying your recent content. Feels real. I believe what you're saying about God's goodness. How do we reconcile the hard things or tragedy that does occur?
Great video! I would think/hope the majority of Christians don’t believe everything that happens on earth is His will, but in saying that there is sects that do & I hope this video reaches them
Good discussion Lee! Qada: Classically, in Islamic theology Allah causes even the feeling you have in your fingers of the peg you are holding. Allah's will and action is the source of everything and is not to be questioned. Tawhid is the oneness of God (no Son!) and Insh' Allah "if Allah wills" it. All three point to an absolutely sovereign being of white hot holiness who's will cannot be known outside the written Sharia Law and who personally cannot be known. As with all heresies, the problem is in over-emphasising one aspect over another. Muslims are famous for their fatalism. There is no room for Job's wrestle with God or David's psalms of lament seeking God to act consistent with his nature and his promises. Allah on the other hand does not make covenants, he issues laws, he makes no commitments. Many Christians do seem to miss the central point of the Bible and the life of Christ in that this is all God's plan to restore relationship. The view that clergy must act as intermediaries between a believer and Christ (Nicolaitanism in Revelation) is something the Lord really, really hates. We commonly misquote Isaiah "For my thoughts are not your thoughts nor my ways your ways" as meaning we cannot understand anything God does, but looking at the context you can see God is saying "But they should be!" Of course we don't know why he does everything he does - but we can know and trust his nature and he wants us to be like him in nature. God bless!
