This is insane, a lot more easier and even better looking alternative for a portfolio. I used to make my own in inDesign and save it on pdf and a lot of work with that. For motion content projects there was no way to make it in pdf..no clips attached no gifs no animations. Basically this is the way, thank you for this idea!
Great time to be alive. I remember when portfolios weren’t actually huge binders you had to get printed out. Even for the web 🤮
I like the Adobe portfolio and works really well in all the navigation and create a free domain
Thank you for this video! It was really helpful! Now, I can make an easy portfolio!
If I don't have any work on Behance, should I do that first? What's the benefits of Behance and a similar portfolio, versus only a portfolio? Thanks!
I tried exactly what you did, and I did not get "an initial portfolio". Everything came up empty, so I have to do everything from scratch. To me, this is extremely frustrating.
Could you please slow down. Some of us need more of a step by step breakdown of the process. It's hard to follow what you're clicking on and what exactly you're doing. I would add a graphic level that DIVIDES each step and and gives the viewer a description and locates with arrows or circles that help guide visually (maybe a number) this could also be a sidebar with a synopsis. It's a great portfolio builder but the nomenclature is confusing and the support site is awkward and cumbersome and not user friendly..
I use Adobe Portfolio and love it. Sure it may not have EVERY feature ever, but it is free and helps keep down on costs.
Great tutorial, thanks!
If you already have a domain, Adobe will give you the info to change the A records so your Portfolio website is portrayed as at your domain. Thank Jesse. I haven't worked out yet how to somehow add a shopping cart for digital downloads.
Hey!😁 I don’t know if you still reading comments on this video. I found it helpful, and I’m doing my portfolio today. Before I watched tutorials, I already figured out the subdomain name changing, and it was funny seeing you witness that after the ‘little janky’ domain you did 😁. I appreciate your work. Stay blessed 🏆.
Well done
This is a very good tutorial! I'm using it now and it looks amazing. I know this is a portfolio but I wish they had a services tab or something. it would really help.
Hey,Jesse my own website says that when i want to publish it again : Ready to publish? Great! But before we do that… You need to upgrade from your free trial.
Thanks Jesse! I have sketch and Figma, would you recommend learning Adobe in order to use this portfolio site or can I use this with those design platforms?
I wish they had the blog option as well where I can publish my thoughts or tutorials. Now I have to get my visitors go to some other platform like medium. That's to only reason I don't go for behance portfolio. Easier to drive traffic to your site when you have a blog.
Jesse, in Ludwig, I am showing just logos. I like the rollover that gives the name, how can I eliminate the tap that vastly enlarges the item or at least minimize the enlargement to maybe 125%?
If you haven't already, can you make a tutorial on how to connect Adobe Portfolio to Google analytics?
I can't publish my free website after done. They said: you need to upgrad your free terial. Could you tell me what can I do, please?
