I hid this guy --> :_weirdo: in the video somewhere. First to find him is the smartest person on YouTube :_salute: #wheresweirdo

I teach 6th and 7th grade ELA and social studies in an urban charter school and I can only DREAM of such creative ingenuity from my gremlins.
They just like snapping regular #2 pencils in half and crunching up my handouts into little paper balls to launch across the room…
Oh, and they constantly steal the stapler off my desk to shoot each other.
The paper poppers are still big though.

@JakobtheInsane_og

I'm a teacher and I'm wondering if making these would get me fired?

@powerflam3

The paper hornet is my favorite because of how easy and effective it is.

@TFM-2011

I have one: Get a popsicle stick, some rubber bands, scissors or a cutter, and a binder clip. Cut two slits on one side of the popsicle stick, secure the binder clip with rubber bands on the other side, then load up a rubber band, one side held by the binder clip, and the other side stuck on the slits. Then, to fire, push down on the binder clip.

Ahh the hornets. My best memory was band, 8th grade. We had a sub, our teacher was in the marine core band so he was out a lot. He'd give us assignment sheets to do. After we got those done, it was fair game to do what ever we wanted. One of my buds folded up one hella stout hornet and had some of those extra big rubber bands. He managed to aim it just perfectly to hit the huge gong at the back of the band room. All of us lost it and got us a nice ISS day... on a day that wasn't supposed to be ISS and put us into an office room unsupervised for an hour.

My favorite is the paper hornet because the fear and pain is struck into my victims

@Elite93WT

My classmates and i had a full on GX2 springshot war, imagine 25 students, each with 37 erasers, firing at eachother with Pilot G2 pens, with 4 of them, including me, being absolute marksmans

@matthewmucci9107

Construction paper or oak tag made the best poppers!

My friends and I had "shooters". Basically they were just gutted mechanical pencils you'd use like a blow gun to shoot rolled paper out of, but not spit balls! You'd also save the pencil guts as your high power ammo because it hurt more.

We also used to go into the bathroom and whip bouncy balls around. My buddy had one of those 2"-3" ones land in the toilet. Naturally he tried to flush it and it didn't go well πŸ˜‚

In elementary school our cafeteria had round tables and that is where everyone would sit in the morning or afternoon before class started or while waiting for busses. This was the perfect arrangement for this game we played where everyone put their hand on the table knuckle down and we would whip a quarter at eachothers hands air hockey style using one hand. You chose your target at random and the object was of course to bust your buddies knuckles! There were some other rules I can't quote remember that allowed for catches and captures or dodges. We had a similar game we played on bocce courts lol

@Cleanbob503

I loved the low rider magazine, great video

@ruckis-kingstarr

I had what I liked to call "the finger gun". All you need is a bunch of loom bands in a pencil bag and short nails. I'd make a finger gun and place one end of the band under the nail of my index finger and the other end around the cuticle of my thumb. When I lowered my thumb and did a finger gun the band would go flying. It wasn't powerful but it was simple and accessible.

Also shoutout to peppermint shivs if your teachers were nice enough to give you their leftover candy during the Christmas seasons.

@bigchungus44660

this is sick man, my friend and i are gonna make these over the next break of school

@Crator183

Woah woah woah slow down. A full length video! We've been blessed

@TheNostalgicNeighborhood

Such a great video. Leveling up your production value in a major way!!! So many clever and hilarious gags, so fun! Tommy 2 Shanks and Becky Beanstalk. πŸ˜‚ I can totally see those as legit urban legends passed down from class to class through the years. And what an honor to have the Nostalgic Neighborhood logo as a little Easter egg on the desk. Thanks for the love πŸ™Œ

@SoulBoyDoesArt

There's LORE to these gadgets...

The pen bow is sick but kind of hard to make especially with the hole part, that's why they made the penzooka... INSANE ❀❀❀
