I bought the Series S for my bedroom. Couple if things thats not mentioned in this video. Its great for 1440p and 1080p gaming but it does support HDR and Dolby Vision at that setting. It looks great. If you get an external 3.1 or 3.2 USB HD. You can store current gens games on the external HD and swap them to the internal storage when you want to play them and thats faster then redownloading them. If you are playing mostly last gen games, you can play them right from external HD and I would suggest you get the 3.2 USB standard, I have gotten up to 250-300 Mbps on my WD Black. This console runs current gen games very well but with a small step down in graphics. The game files are a little lower on the textures and have smaller install files because of that, making your smaller drive space more meaningful. I love my Series S!!!!

I agree with your review. I’ve had mine since January, of this year. I already have a ps5 & Switch. I got the Series S to play Xbox exclusives like Halo & Forza. I decided, after sitting on the fence for a while, to go with the Series S & game pass. It’s the most economical way to get into the Xbox ecosystem. I haven’t been disappointed. If anything, I’ve been impressed. The biggest shortcoming is the storage, but at a $300 price point, it’s hard to complain. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my Series S. It’s a great secondary console. Heck, it would be fine as a main console. You get this little box with game pass & it’s the best deal on the market. This system definitely punches above its weight.

The controller is very good, not just decent. The battery options are a huge benefit too, unlike like the proprietary Sony controller battery

Was shocked to see the view and subscriber count for such a well made review! Not meant to be backhanded, just great quality honestly. Good job!

I'm very happy with my Xbox Series X. I subscribed to support this channel

Shared on my all profiles! You are king of youtube for sure!

@teviblekhman1628

I don’t miss discs on my siries s because I never owed discs or a last gen console.

@serbanoctavian3307

I have a very good PC , but i was really fascinated about gamepass; i ended up buying a series s for this purpose and now i game more on it than the PC. I can use the service on PC too, but I just love to push the xbox button and quick resume my progress after a hard day in the office.

@HOLLAifYouFEARme

I love my PS5 and Xbox Series S. I dont need Series X. I love it here

@michaellittle7599

I traded it in for the X like 3 weeks ago? It's the little beast that could. Honestly not much difference outside resolution on most games. The major difference is when you switch up playing last gen games from the OG One version to the One X version. There's definitely a need for the S. I don't at all notice 4k when in the heat of gameplay. It's a luxury that doesn't at all add to story or gameplay mechanics.

@stricksbelief

i accidentally clicked on this video bc my phone was in my pocket and I watched the whole thing, great video

@JoaoFragos04

I've mine over a year also and it's really amazing. Great video 👍🏻

@millabasset1710

I thought it was a bad decision at first, but I'm beginning to grow on my Series S, it is convenient for my needs right now. I have a pretty good computer and with my goals in life right now, I don't have the patience for broken ports, especially being an AMD user. I have a pretty good Hisense 65 inch, the HDR truly does look amazing, I might test it on my ultrawide monitor and see if that's better. The benchmarks honestly are good for the price, even Resident Evil 8 in fidelity mode reaches 45fps, but 60fps in performance mode with HDR turned on, I can't see a difference.

I skipped the Xbox One, so returning to the Xbox feels a bit refreshing.

@lance1506

@npi369

Thank you 🙏🏽 for this informative video, I’m in, want to buy it, only one ?, how does it run on WiFi? I’ll have to call a technician at XBOX…
My room is 6ft away from the modem, I’m also Wired…I purchased Amazon Luna controller with my Ubisoft + and had constant “Network Issues” it was unplayable, plus I wasted $60 on the controller : (
