My ex definitely talked alot but didn't really ask questions to learn about me, what I need, he wasn't vulnerable, but we definitely talked alot about the economy, work, politics, religion, making money but when it comes to the deeper things, I for the most part initiated those conversations. I asked alot of questions to know and understand him better but felt like he wasn't reciprocating that. He wanted a serious commitment/marriage for sure but I felt it wasn't really fulfilling. Overtime I felt so much burnout and extreme fatigue, by the time he eventually came around to start asking me deeper questions to learn more about me, I had already mentally and emotionally checked out. I had to cut it off because I didn't have any energy or motivation to continue. It was very emotionally draining and lopsided!

I hear you because I will ask him about anything and everything. I will pick his brain and I always let him know that Im a open book and he can ask me anything because thats just how I am. I dont believe in hiding anything.

It goes both ways...ladies just trust God if someone is for u God will give u signs if he is not u will see red flags...u not going have to work hard finding out if someone is for u...u will know instantly if that man is the one.. how u know? His love for God n he is the humble man,the humanitarian...he is the leader of love kindness his wisdom penetrates u n the glory of God is felt around him that is your soulmate he is going to come to u already whole not a half because he has learn true love threw his past experiences or past life experiences...pray and ask God to show you n God will - One love Oracle love

This is exactly what is happening in my relationship. I literally asked my girlfriend what I could do in our relationship to be better for the relationship, she looked at me and said idk, to which I replied well you don't want to give a list only when you're angry. In a time of tranquility and peace I'm trying to give you a platform to help us grow, again she said idk you put me on the spot. Needless to say that conversation never took place. I date to marry and build a life and when I started this relationship I saw us starting a family and marriage but at this point I only see the day to day. I see this very issue every day and as time passes I see more the fact what you see now is what you'll get later. I'm just a version of myself that limits my engagements because what's the point people are who they are. Like he said though shes cool to chill with but I lost the desire to commit to her on a deeper level. The commitment for marriage is no longer a prospect 🤷🏿♂️.

I fully understand what you are saying! It has to be a two way confirmation. I have been married for 20 something yrs and I am always the one to ask all the questions about him and our relationship! I really had enough now🤷🏽♀️🙏🏽💚🙌🏾
