He was in and out of trouble for years, and went to jail in 2001 for hacking and updating government computers (and leaving a backdoor so he could update the security in the future) without authorization. Got out in 2023, but legit work wasn't really available to him anymore. He started carding, having met a couple of scoundrels while doing time, and eventually got caught in 2007. Max was in prison from 2008 to 2021. He's walking around somewhere now, I assume waiting for his five year supervised release to end. I suspect he's on the spectrum and/or bipolar, or something like that.
