@prototek100

Well for Canadians it will always be OUR game no matter what. If another country rivals us or even gets better at it then that is the ultimate compliment in my book because it means the game has impact and is truly loved in the world. The game should be our gift to the rest of the world so if they can have a chance to match us at it that's terrific IMO, also more HEALTHY for us to have real competition. I really loved and admired how the Swedes put everything they had into their final game and then won even though it was over for them. To me that was a fairly close second to Canada winning the final game. On that note my only complaint was that this series should have been more like the olympics where you have a bronze medal game and a gold medal game. The Finns and Swedes should have had a final game as well.

@LoganSaunders-n8c

For the 11th province to take Canada to Ot that’s pretty impressive considering they are only one province

@HughJorgan1

“The game between the US and Canada did more for the game of hockey than every All Star game combined.”
Well said.

@goflamingo32

Great special on the 4 nations face-off. A week after and I'm still not over it. Thank you for your takes and commentary, this is such a well-put video, a 10-minute documentary of one of the greatest rivalry of the decade. I loved how you ended it. Kudos and looking forward to more videos.

@gabrielidusogie9189

Rich Eisen's comments as well as PK's response to the failure of the NBA All Star games really did alot for hockey. I can't wait for the playoffs as this year the parity has been high. The race to the playoffs is super close and intense and we haven't even passed the trade deadline

@daredevil_1122

Marner and marchand hugging is just amazing to see

@jmarx3943

The US had definitely closed the gap with Canada substantially, but it's Canada's game. They make up for any holes in their roster with an insane work ethic. They care as much or more about winning while wearing their national jersey than anyone. I can't wait for the rematch with Canada and my US team next year.

@MattiusWhite

I want the 3 point system and 10 minute OT so bad!

@FraserMcMahon

As a Canadian. This event came at the best time. After Trump and his supporters started the 51st state and annexation rhetoric, it went from playfully competitive to personal. I did not care for anything else in the tournament than Canada showing again that this is OUR sport. And once again just like Vancouver 2010, we one on our turf and showed the Americans that this is our game.

@beesechurger9469

Matthews keepin it Toronto style for USA

@tacoisdead

Regardless of which team you support, every hockey fan HAS to respect and appreciate that there is atleast one sport where players give 100% even during their allstar break. Nfl has dodgeball... nba is a knock-off harlem globtrotters..mlb is batting practice. There is a reason why this series got so many views. So surreal seeing guys on teams about to pursue a deep playoff run, not giving a fuck, full sending the entire time.

@imulippo5245

Four Nations was a major succes for the hockey generally so probably Gary wants a change if this wasn't profitable enough.

@Randomnoob-x2e

This guy is the best storyteller in the league

@notrednorblue

All the 4 Nations games were electric, my Mom even watched all of them, with the exception of the couple day games they had. As an American who grew up wearing my USA Hockey hat to most practices, I was bummed when McDavid sealed the deal. But it’s got me even more excited for the Olympics.

It would have been hard for USA to beat Canada twice in one tournament, but now Canada has to beat USA twice in back to back tournaments. I’d rather lose 4 Nations have the boys win the Olympics.

Let’s just hope Russia has a team, because I wanna see another round of international Ovechkin. And by that point he’ll be padding his lead for most goals, not chasing.

@ibeleaf

marner is really becoming a legend

@PawnCheckmated

Nice video! Go Canada 🇨🇦

@skyerone

idk man i feel like hockey is much more affordable in the states these days which is definitely a help to these WJHC chips, however it's nice to see canada have consistent competition now that russia is black listed for the most part lol

@thefamilymans2545

Honestly, it was a GREAT event! The only downsides i see are 1:canada fans booing national anthems 2:injuries to players.
  Have it done in summer or early in the season.

@0ilcountry

The United Province of America 😂

@that_guy0_0

How do you not know how to pronounce their name?
