Those fountains are easily the best part of Rome, no joke. The water is very clean and always cold, so it's always refreshing.

Tip number 1: Do as the Romans do

@T0pMan15

If in Rome, don’t expect to get good food in the centre it’s a tourist trap.

Here are a few top places I visited:

1. Pizzeria da Remo (best Roman style pizza, thin and super cheap)
2. Osteria Da Fortunata (shown in this video, best carbonara and tiramisu)
3. Pizzeria Bonci (Bonci is a famous Roman pizza chef and this pizzeria specialises in pizza en teglia and deep fried pasta arancini balls)

As a Roman good tips, also go visit Giardino degli aranci which is a small park next to Gianicolo ( a beautiful open air terrace where you can see Rome from above ) the park has huge bronze doors with a large key hole that if you look through it, you can see the dome of St. Peter right in the middle

Always walk back from dinner! It helps with digestion and helps with being bloated.😊

@jonnamaestro

Dang i just missed u! Visiting italy now and was in rome just yesterday, its hot as hell right now and crowded but man what a beautiful city to walk

@lmusima3275

The hotel I booked was just around the corner from Termini. My goodness it was so hectic. I walked everywhere. I never took the bus. I used the the train once or twice. In one day I completed 19km, about 26k steps

@daveduncan9034

The campo di fiori the best place to stay IMO!

@MichaeIBurrows

Dudeeee haven’t drank from that fountain in years but it’s so refreshing

@mikemonroy1

Was visiting Rome in December 2000 with my second wife (Swiss). Returning tomorrow Saturday 4 January 2025 with my third wife (Spanish). Never a boring day in Europe as an American man. Retired US Navy.

To get around use public transport, good and relatively reliable. It’s also cheap and you basically get around only using busses trams and metros. I get everywhere with public transport
