I have never been disappointed with my purchases from TJ MAXX. I don't care who makes the products. I care that they are a good deal and not a piece of trash. So far/So good. I also appreciate the cleanliness of the Stores and the kindness of the Staff. TJMAXX has helpred our Family and Friends many times over. Thanks TJMAXX! I think I will shop with you again today.

Yellow Tag Clearance happens only twice a year (every 6 months). Red Tag Clearance happens every month (typically around the 10th of each month).

I asked one time why the same item has two different prices. One item was on clearance. The sales lady said the clearance item has been in the store longer than the reg priced item

Several years ago I found a Polo Ralph Lauren small duffle shaped purse in TJ Maxx in NYC...a friend always told me to put the items in your cart even if you are unsure because you if back later it will be gone.. so I put the purse in my cart and I was debating of buying it or not...I noticed this lady kinda following me around the store she wasn't near me but was always nearby...it wasn't until I got to register that the lady asked me if I was going to buy the purse...she was following me the entire time over the purse...and I am glad to say 20+ years later I still have the purse..I have had the handles and the zipper replaced but it is still one of my favorite bags!

I noticed that the closer to main warehouse distribution centers that the better the stores are. In the 1990’s there was a distribution center in Colorado and I noticed that the Boise store was far superior to Portland. I know this is probably no longer the case, however I’m guessing that the Indiana stores are pretty great.
