This song still sound good in 2024

@samanthalewin4397

He was so visual. He really does draw your attention. I could watch him all day.

@dougtull4594

Visually, musically, culturally, etc., Bowie was way ahead of everyone else.

@rbbl_

Wow when Bowie said "We are the goon squad and we are coming" he was really ahead of his time

@tawermeister99

This song is so criminally underrated.

@brightlightx2

This song just doesn't age, it's so perfect.

@alexcarratu5554

In an entertainment world full of clones, David Bowie was a true original, one cool dude and ahead of his time. A true talent. Thank you for your musical originality, Mr Bowie.

@venanciahopkins5035

Bowie was so cool and ahead of his time! Total genius!

@MoebiusFive

This video always makes me chuckle. David Bowie's sense of humor is off the wall.

@zimbra67

Robert Fripp's guitar playing in this song is phenomenal!

@chrissimpson6701

Coolest guy to walk the earth. Miss you David.

@pensadordomediterraneo2073

His haircut was so nice in this video

@StephenDedalus74

As a Bowie fan, I'm asking myself, watching this video for the first time in years, if how he looks in it is not... the COOLEST LOOK EVER FOR HIM ?!!!!! I mean, It's quite simple in a way (black shirt, no obvious make up, not an extraordinary hairdo, etc.) and yet... he is sooooooooooooooooooo cool and elegant and beautiful !!!!!!! :)

@shadowmixx

I almost forgot that David Bowie did this classic.
Some say he was ahead of his time. I say he was right on time. In a generation that needed to see what versatility, creativity, and originality should look and sound like. Both he and Prince personified images that people probably felt made them different. In their cases, different was cool.

@IlGattonero13

Robert Fripp's gonzo guitar track is genius. Bowie, the visionary, gave him license to do what he wanted. It sets the emotional tone for the whole song.

@josephmaloney9617

The bass lines in this song are fantastic

@mephistoxarses8585

That Guitar riff still kills me to this day!

@TViking4

Fun fact, Alan Hunter, one of the original MTV VJs is one of the dancers in this video. He's the guy with the stripped shirt and red suspenders, and can be seen a few times like at 3:10. He later said that he went over to David and told him it was a thrill to meet him, and he gave him a pat on the back saying "Nice work mate."

@a_guy_263

WE ARE THE GOON SQUAD AND WERE COMING TO TOWN šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„

@0far0from0sanity

I regret not being old enough to experience this but I’m so glad it will always be there to enjoy. Thank you
