@gigimw

I want to hear your thoughts on this!!! & suggestions! There’s sooo many ways to romantisize your life so let’s have a little convo in the comments & support eachother 😚😚😚😚ily all!!

@MonchisCrux

Changing the "I have to do this" to "I get to do this" has changed sooo many things for me 🥺 even when sometimes I'm stressed and busy I get a reminder that I'm working for my goals and it's so refreshing to see this video right now ✨

@ameliarizki4447

I think the essence of romanticizing life is being fully present in every moment. My tips is u need to slow down for every activity that u do. Engage all your senses: notice the scents around you, feel different textures, and truly experience your surroundings. Also, try to practice the art of noticing. When you take a walk, pay attention to the little things, the birds, the people, nature, everything around you.

@ftriruk

in india it is considered as bad omen that a cat crosses your path but i love the way you made it feel that the baby is crossing the road to say hello from now will never hesitate to say hello to her/him 😭🎀

@POVPrincess289

Just got Pinterest bc of this. I was always told my session was summer and I thought summer was a gross season bc I was thinking of hot pinks neon yellows and blues and little kids toys. Now I can see just how beautiful summer is ❤

@aslowcreative

How to romanticize your life ✨

1. Waking up more peacefully (e.g. a more peaceful alarm like bird sounds)

2. Getting ready for the day - skin care, make up, dress up etc.

3. Finding small things in the morning to jumpstart your day - like making your favourite drink, clean your bed

4. Make pinterest vision boards - for different seasons, for school etc with what you want to do, outfit inspos etc and you can scroll through them when you feel unmotivated.

5. Finding the joy in everything you do and making everything you do joyful - clean your space, decorate it, change places, wear cute outfits, playing favourite music. Just add small things to your day to make your life a little mor joyful.

6. make your spaces more personal to you according to what you like

7. Make a playlist for each season

8. Gratitude lists

9. Have fun with your outfits and find your personal style, find outfits that make you happy, and feels good

10. Letting go of perfection and getting out of your comfort zone - have fun with the process of doing something. Enjoying the process of learning something.

11. Document your life - take videos, take photos of your everyday life, experiences etc. Take pictures of anything and everything like your breakfsat, outfit etc.

12. Knowing when to put the camera down

13. Make small moments feel big - be more present

14. Finding creative hobbies - it doesnt matter if you think you are not good at it

15. Finding your signature - your favourite tree, drink, cafe, nail colour, lip colour over time.

16. Finding organization styles that help you

17. Slow down - doing slower things like sending letters to friends, reading local newspapers, etc.

18. Say hi - have conversation with people

19. Give compliments

20. Do things with intention - make everyday things an experience

@warcrimecomitter

i also recommend starting a junk journal or scrapbook, it’s helped me SO much. even if you can’t draw, just collecting leaves/flowers napkins even if it’s over a few days makes everything seem prettier:)

@stellamarkovic3005

I saw a quote once it went 'i found it fun, you found it cringe. That's why I am happier than you ' or something like that. But yeah, I live by it now

@Veronica-Palmer._.

As a writer, I write down memories that just changed my life and I make it feel like a movie or something you’d see in a novel without changing anything, just going more in depth

@niananaa

I know this sounds silly, but I realized I lost my way in life and lost a great amount of interests on things I used to enjoy , and you just gave me a big inspiration on how I can actually try again and like... try function as a human. Thank you, really

@JessicaYakira

Nothing cringey about this video girl, it was such a breath of air thank you for putting yourself out there i loved watching it!

@Slytherinstarx

I'm a teen girl who was constantly struggling to keep up. It was because of a lot of trauma that I experienced. But, for the first time, I felt as though that I can finally organise my life. Thanks to you<3

@femmedemort

One of my favorite quotes related to being cringe is “I am cringe, but I am free.” I’ve been trying to remind myself of that lately. I should not care if I’m being “cringey” as long as I’m happy and doing what I love.

@Doeily

I think this video was very helpful, inspiring all throughout, and not even a little cringy. The way you describe things, your soft voice and way of speaking, and the style of this video I feel lended itself really well to your points and I think they're all broadly applicable and useful. If I would specifically add anything, I would add visits to the public library and parks in your area, or "borrowing" a dog to walk for a day. If you live near nature, try to find ways to interact with it differently. Walking on park paths, hiking trails, feeding ducks with something healthy for them (not bread) where feeding is allowed, eating your lunch outside wherever you can. Date yourself, even if you aren't single. It's so fun

@ThatBlondeGurly

I know this video is older but you changed my life. I can never get out of bed. I scroll constantly and I can’t do anything. I always thought it was my ADHD that caused that but it was just my mindset. You are amazing.

@thebdrop1

I was having one of those days where I was feeling like a mouse on a wheel, not very present and stressing about life. I took time to pause and think about the moment, went for a walk, simply enjoyed the breeze, looked around and took some photos. So coming across this video today was reassuring and really calming. Thankyou, for being so real about this topic and deciding to post.

@cosmicchie

I've written this masterpiece on paper. It says, "You don't need to keep waiting. Some beautiful moments are hidden in the mundane if you take the time to notice them." And this is the most beautiful I've ever heard.

@skylerssecondchannel02

Just wanted to say thank you for this video! I have adhd and autism and really struggle day to day with CPTSD and mental illness on top of that. I am going to try and use some of these tips in my daily life! I have already tried the pinterest board and trying to have a soundtrack to my life just this morning and i am feeling good! ❤

@empowermentwcaro

Gigi, thank you so much for making this video. I honestly think I hated my life for the past 24 years because I’ve wanted my dream life to come true without realizing that it’s all apart of the journey that makes it so sweet 💞 we will all achieve our goals if we make small moments in our life beautiful and worthwhile.

Once again, thank you 🙏

@heatherrobinson3578

As a self proclaimed “old soul” I often find myself lost in society these days. I feel disconnected from most of the people around me because of the differences- I seem to lack the ability to connect with things I don’t understand. As a woman diagnosed late with ADHD it has been a difficult journey over the past year redefining myself and my behaviors. I am so grateful I ran across your lovely video this morning and I am so excited to learn more from you💜
