Its not the copying that turns me away from this style. Its the unfunny jokes, brainrot refrences, fast paced editing, and uninteresting topics.
This is exactly why I moved out of the Lego city space and into a historic/ships content. No one has really touched it and I’m excited to see where it goes.
I would argue generic studs still has a unique style
The problem that I have with a lot of newer Lego YouTube users is not just that they copy and or rip off each other in terms of content but they also have generic and or copycat usernames too.
Ye mr beast style content… we’re all tired of it
I remember watching a TD bricks video and I noticed that one of his "mocs" was literally just the eiffel tower ripped out of the paris architecture set and plastered onto a green baseplate.
I miss those old times and videos, back when things were simpler.
Let's not forget the "LEGO Beach/Gym/Prison Break/Bank Heist/etc. Fail" videos; the original LEGO brainrot-Elsagate content.
Nah the OG's are JangBricks, Brickbuilder and Austrian Lego Fan
I kinda noticed the brainrot too…
This is a great video. I'm so glad that I'm not alone in my gripes with parts of the lego community
“The lego community is unoriginal” reacts to someone else’s content
FINALLY someone mentions this. Im not insane
I feel like lego brain rot is making mandr productions look like a decent channel
Look whos talking...
i'm just surprised that people haven't started copying half-asleep chris
I used to post lego content until I realized all my audience wanted a was a dubbed over 90s taco bell commerical.
Copying someone's style isn't per se bad, I'd say it's bad if someone doesn't add their own flare to it. Look at minecraft 100 days. People started to make adaptations of it. And it still is standing relatively strong
