@FinnJamm

From Finland here, Finland doesnt want those areas back, even if they were offered to us. They are ethnically russian and underdeveloped would be a burden economicly. We are happy here where we are and just want to be left alone.

@20RCH

As a Swede I’m happy with our Finnish brothers at the border to Russia. It makes us feel protected.
They don’t hesitate to make quick and harsh decisions, for example seizing the ship dragging the anchor, within hours.
It takes the Swedish government much longer time with a lot of “what ifs”.
Kudos to Finland.🇫🇮
It’s very convenient of Putin to talk about history when grabbing land and forgetting his capital and Kiev have Viking heritage.
Maybe Sweden should talk about history more? Together with Finland we should then have the land until the urals and down south towards Ukraine.
It’s just stupid to talk about history when trying to grab land. It should be a modern time now, work together to get better. Imagine if Russia spent the money to invest in the riches of metals and agriculture instead of the war with Ukraine. That’s the way to make your country great.
If Russia ends up with Ukraine in the end, what then? A country like f rubble and an economy in despair?
Heck they even steal the toilets from Ukraine. What can Russia offer that’s better?

@Afraithe

Can confirm, Viking soul waking up in Scandinavia. All military tactics, materiel, production etc, has always (cold war or not) been built with 1 single enemy in mind, Russia. Cold war never stopped for Finland.

@echen71

Breaking: The Russian apocalypse has been postponed by a Zeihan lifetime.

@dongately2817

At this point I don't even subscribe to this channel for Zeihan - I come for the fights in the comments:face-purple-wide-eyes:

@hybridarmyoffreeworld

Always give a bully what they want, so they will stop bullying? Who in their right mind believes that? Giving a bully what they want only convinces the bully that bullying works and they bully some more.

@BrianSmith-bk2ii

Half of the Russian population seems to be present in South East Asia already.

@zibbitybibbitybop

Finland and Sweden may be strong, decisive actors, but I highly doubt they'd go full Viking again. The culture has changed just a tad since 400 years ago.

@Sect10n31

Finland & Sweden finally decided to join NATO after Russia decided not to leave them the hell alone

@bryguy306

When I want to hear fiction about the past, I read Tolkien.

When I want to hear fiction about the future, I play Zeihan.

@And-lj5gb

Most of the minorities in the Caucasus, including Chechens, are not Turkic. The Tatars and the Bashkirs are. The are a lot of Muslims in the Caucasus, though, that's what may drive Turkish interest.

@MrDfrolic

Correction - Chechens are NOT Turkic, they are from absolutely different ethnic group - Vainakh. Turkey wasn’t involved in Chechen wars, the most significant players were islamists from Jordan and Saudi.
Turkey has own interests in Western Caucasus, historically an outskirts of Ottoman Empire, Eastern Caucasus was always a sphere of Persian interests. With exception of Chechnya, Ingushetia and high altitude Degestan, which were independent until Russian conquest.

@garenson

Youtube keeps recommending me this hilarious comedy channel.

@sgran44

Fun stuff! Science fiction, but I'm here for it.

@Maurice599

Didn’t you say the Ukrainians would’ve been in Crimea like a year ago?

@J-Bags

Cool to see Peter speaking just down the road from where I’m watching it.

@markgouthro7375

I like the backdrop, it's a great metaphor for your introduction. We can predict the fall of Russia, just like we can that the cliffs behind you will fall. But, the specific when is impossible to predict.

@planmet

Vladivostok is about as far away from St Petersburg as Nairobi is from London. Russia is too big for its own good.

@daneck100

Enjoying your videos! Found you thanks to Brad Thor's novels!

@SaveAMERICA1787

Excellent Peter!
