I literally saw this in your Car Thing video and HUNTED for what it could be on google. It showed up yesterday, and here you are lol
Wow, how does this channel have less than 10k subs? Such high quality work and the actual got me thinking about buying some of these peripherals -- something most desk tech videos do not achieve. Looking forward to how WFH evolves.
Grabbed one to use with with some of the software I use at work, so I can expense it. Thanks for the video review.
Ok i'm gonna be real, I've only seen two of your videos. Subbed. This content is crazy quality.
New subscriber here... I have watched all of your videos and they are great! I expect this channel to explode with viewership. I would really like to see you do a video about your wide-screen monitor vs having two or three monitors and the workflow of them. I'm currently using two screen monitors but I think if I got one big wide-screen monitor, it would clean up my work space...
I think i need this for my music production! dope video man, subscribed.
Im not surprised it was originally meant as a tool for artists. Youd be surprised at how many versions there are of macro pads with dials meant for art. Lots of tablets have it built in. This one still is more handy tho
I use my mouse for all my navigation but having a more minimal visual mice would be preferred and this could replace that and be wireless 🤔 I might put this on a wishlist I do like rotary devices too
I ended up getting one of these, and actually find it pretty limited for custom actions. It works best if you use it to call custom AutoHotKey scripts.
I've tried several macro pads and I'm looking for one with a free spinning dial, a quiet, low travel keys, wireless macro pad to use in my recording booth, this might be it.
This is built in with the Corsair K100 keyboard (except the display) so that's the only benefit i was hoping it would have RF or bluetooth or even Wifi so you could control more things then just things on the PC Sure the Corsair K100 is $225 but you get a spillproof keyboard with it so i would suggest people looking into that if they want something like this and need a new keyboard
I prefer the Elgato Stream Deck for my workflow.
Love it, nice review
you should try the razer tartarus for some of these purposes
I feel seen. I have a black Quick Keys, but hadn't had the time to set it up for digital art, partially because I was in the midst of rebuilding my desk setup when my annual holiday came around, and I had also accidentally reverted my Krita workspace configuration back to the default because I didn't save my custom settings. When I took it with me to use with my laptop while on holiday (because the place I was staying at had a desk setup I could hook my laptop's dock up to), I ended up setting it up to control Evernote, as well as Milanote (in an Edge app window), and also TightVNC Viewer to some extent. (1:10) Edit: I also have the 'other' section set up with a page of some Windows 11 shell commands and music transport controls, and similar to at (1:17), a page full of just Microsoft PowerToys commands. I also have one of the dial options just set up to control the audio volume, even though I normally just adjust the volume on the speakers themselves. Oops. To be fair, I'm just testing all of these on my laptop and would later copy them to my main PC when I arrive back home in Singapore. (6:13) Yep! However, that doesn't seem to be a problem for me as the keys on my XP-Pen Artist 13.3 Pro (pen display) are like that too. However, its jog wheel does have tactile feedback, whereas I can live with the lack of tactile feedback on the Quick Keys if I remember to make use of the little marked divot on it.
I want that keyboard 🤤
Can this do a combination of functions, like a macro? (e.g. type out an email address, or pre-programmed script). I also wish the wheel had clicks, having a free spinning wheel is pretty dumb for a device like this.
Really like this videos and the what you set out to do on this channel. What would be very interesting to see is video of the base setup of your current desktop, mounting of things, lights, desk, what speakers etc. since your setup looks really amazing.
What monitor mounted light are you using? Thanks for another great video on desk setup tech!
