i love how you proposed. nothing big, no crowd. just you and her silently watching birds. this is how i wish most proposals are like. [ edit: guys please don't take offense to my last statement š i just mean that crowd proposals puts more pressure on the person being proposed to and forces them to say yes or look like an asshole for saying no in public. to me proposals should be something intimate between two people who love each other but hey if you like crowd proposals then you do you i'm not here to stop you lol i'm just stating my harmless opinion ]

My mom's first response to my fiance was, "As long as you get baptized." It was a conditional yes and when I said yes at the proposal, my initial ask afterwards was, "Did you ask my mom?" I feel somewhat relieved to hear your mom so happy for you both. Fyi my mom is also Filipino
