if a 10x dev causes a lot of unplanned work, then they are not 10x devs, they are just masters of Pareto principle - they achieve 80% of result by applying 20 % of the total effort, and then they just offload the remaining effort to the rest of the team.

I have the "I'm a developer too" manager, who will yell at you if you use VS CODE instead of PyCharm or ORM instead of raw SQL string. When there is a bug and frontend + backend cannot fix it in half a day, he will call you to the meeting room and say he can do all of our jobs in half an hour, but in reality, he can't operate Excel documents properly His catchphrases include: "I used to be a developer, and ..." "Have you ever coded?" "AI will replace developers"

Don't forget - the engineer that tells you your PRs are too large when they themselves submit larger PRs for review. - the engineer that spends 100% of their time refactoring things needlessly rather than doing actual work. - and now in 2025...the engineer that vibe codes EVERYTHING... Can't center anything without AI... Can't mock an object with 2 primitives without AI...

You forgot to include that one "prompt engineer dev" that literally only copies chatGPT code with little to no regard for what they are doing. Resulting in overwriting existing solutions or causing more issues in the process. Never has good ideas due to not even knowing enough about programming or engineering.
