Guy named French names decided to start a band
Mr. Beat talking about Daft Punk? Heck yeah!
I got into the stage lighting business right before their Coachella performance. That performance single handedly revolutionized the lighting industry, and I am grateful to have seen & benefited from that change first hand.
Daft Punk changed my life, love them so much.
I always wish I got to see them LIVE, shame that wonβt happen again
Daft punk is actually playing in my house right now
The legend uploaded again
Was not expecting this. But what a good video
I saw them live at Coney Island back in 2007. To this day, it was the best concert I've ever experienced. My favorite song is Something About Us.
I was waiting for you to put a video about them !!! now I'm going to enjoy the next 18 minutes of this

Mr. Beat is based for bringing up the GOATs
My best friend and I saw them at Coachella 2006. We had no idea what a historic, life-changing event that would be. Thanks for the video!
Beautiful to see one of my favourite Geo/History youtubers cover my favourite band
I hope one day they do an interview as themselves and gives us all the backstory we want.
This video downplayed just how important that Coachella performance in 2006 REALLY was. It created the modern blueprint for live EDM music performances. The pyramid stage, the LED's and elaborate video boards, synchronized music and flashing effects. That formula became pivitol for artists like Avicii, Deadmau5, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, etc. who all borrowed from that stage presence.
I remember when Random Access Memories came out. We made a bet with friends that 10 years later it would still sound fresh. Now almost 15 years later, it's one of the most enduring, impossible to copy albums I've ever sat through. Most people dont realize that "Get Lucky" mignt be the weakest part of the album. Songs like Giorgio, Beyond, Touch and Contact are a love letter to what electronic music can do when it tries to be deep. It's a niche no one's filled the same way since.
9:25 they actually found all the samples, the last one was found in July 2023 or so
Do AC/DC Next
