@jurajchobot

That study method is awesome. I'm surprised no one came with anything similar before.

Thank you for sharing and congratulations on your mathematical journey

@valeriopagnotta7873

Great content by the way, I particulary find the appeal to everyone individuality important, because what works for one may not work for another and everyone should test how a method of study works for itself.

@kiara4345

This was pretty cool and helpful. Thank you Iona!!! Here exams in 2 months time

Nice video thank you. Will definitely be using these

@numericalcode

Great advice!

Thanks for the video Ioana. I have come up with a similar method to yours, but mine is lacking. I typed the number of times i went over the material next to it and a letter ( for example 2g, for two times+good ), instead of the color you use. I didn't use dates. I can't use the spaced repetition method even though it's a great idea because by the week's end i barely have time to go over the material of that week, so usually no time for revision of prior stuff.
Few questions:
1) How many hours do you study per hour of lecture, on average?
2) Doesn't that spaced repetition schedule interfere with what you have to study (material you went over that day)? I get that you spend less and less time every time you review old material but still, how do you find the time?
3) Do you have a daily study schedule or do you only study what you are supposed to, by using your revision time table?

Anyways, i "stole" the dates and color part and added it to my method. Even without the spaced repetition, it's a good idea.
Best wishes!

@valeriopagnotta7873

Is there any hierarchy in the chunks that needs to be studyed during the space repetion? You said that the green ones revised already 4 times {2 days after + 3 days after + 4 days after + 5 days after} and which last review was not long ago cames last. But between a "yellow ones" one that only has get the 3 days after reviews and one thats is okay but last seen 3 weeks before, how you choose on which to start?

Hello. What are the best Math books for self study?

This is a great system, thank you for sharing! I also recommend Justin Sung's channel and the iCanStudy channel (both are run by Justin). He also has many good tips, as he's a learning researcher.

@scottalton3476

Are the problem sheet questions based on or close to the lecture content, the text book or beyond both of those and need original thinking to answer them? Did completing the problem sheets change in difficulty moving from first year to fourth year or about the same?
