Love the tutorial! As a Chinese, I would like to add that in Chinese social media, this style of make up is called 网感妆容 which loosely translates to Make Up that looks good on Camera. Chinese Make up 新中式妆容 has a more natural finish, but takes inspiration from traditional Chinese styles. So you could say that Douying style is the Chinese version of Full Glam Make Up and Chinese Make Up us the Chinese version of clean girl makeup. 😊

this blew my mind. I've been searching for eyelid tape tutorials before buying it because I wanted to know if I could lift my slightly hooded eyes exactly like she did!! It’s so cool that as a white american with what I always thought of as puffy, weird, wrinkly eyes are drawn on and emphasized across the world. I’ve been doing more Douyin and XHS style makeup and I just LOVE this feature now. I feel very pretty ☺️ thank you for the contour breakdown!
