Hyper-V is just great. I have problems with VMWare, the problem is that my disk goes up 100% and my whole computer freezes up. Hyper-V doesn't do that because it doesn't use the VMDK hard disk image and instead it uses the VHD or VHDX format that is easier for my hard drives. I know, I know you can't play Minecraft on Hyper-V and Hyper-V uses remote desktop blah blah blah. Well for me it works and its good.

@yhz2K

VirtualBox was so heavy and made my potato laptop almost blast
when i used Ubuntu for more than 15 mins

with VMware Player 16 , everything runs butter smooth
Doesn't make my laptop heat up
or make it lag or useless

VMware Player is Free and it rocks ❤❤❤

@Rasthro

I tried one cool unique experiment: I enabled remote desktop in my windows 10 pro VMware virtual machine and used the remote desktop app on my host system and CONNECTED THE REMOTE SESSION TO VIRTUAL MACHINE! The virtual machine was logged out while windows settings were modified in remote desktop app for better performance and was logged on in the remote desktop connection

@TheRealOderless635gnat

First I used virtual box since I’m a normal person in vm’s I will use vmware

@StupidMaster2-zy7fp

When I turned on hyper-v on my computer, it told me to restart and then it said “Prepairing Hyper-V Recovery” under the boot logo and then it asked for my bitlocker recovery key. Have never seen this screen before. I can’t find my recovery key. Now my files are gone :(

@moviesynopsis001

is hyper v faster ? and does it use less system resources e.g. ram and cpu on the host machine?

@rainyonrecord

I use both, Hyper-V is great because since I do a lot of software development I tend to use Microsoft azure cloud services a lot and it integrates with Hyper-V flawlessly, VMWare workstation pro 17 is just used for basic VM needs like running GNU/Linux VM's and etc.

@DavidAlsh

Hey, with Hyper-V - I didn't do manual configuration surrounding CPU usage and the guest shows that it has the same number of physical cores as the host. Does that mean it shares all of the host's physical cores?

@RyanOliverFLaron

is it okay to use both vmware and hyper v?

@wibisonojr4986

can you install hackintosh on hyper v?

@gjguo7703

Is there a way to export vm as ova file from hyper-v ?

@RFVT89

Hyper-V DOES WORK on Windows 10 Home, just do a little search and by creating batch files you can make it work!!

@CubeHeadFanYoo

Hey, I don't know what should I choose my CPU is too old is a I5 CPU what are your recommended virtual machine? I'm using windows 10 pro is running windows 7 OS but I upgraded to windows 10 pro..

@mohanakumar592

Hyper v vs vm who is safety for laptop

@bz457

HOW I AM VERIFY THE BIOS ON VMWARE VERSION 16

@tristan6509

Hyper-V would've been better at everything if only it wasn't owned by microsoft... it's clearly biased towards windows

performance is better on Hyper-V which is why I prefer it

@FunWithBits

VMWare Workstation Pro is $250 vs Hyper-V is free, correct? I would do workstation but $250 is too much for me + bi-yearly upgrades for $150 as well.

@AndrewPeacockUK

Awesome video Bub!

@Rasthro

I used hyper v for a while,but I quitted it cuz I had minimal issues running hyper v and I officially SWITCHED to VMware workstation 16 pro

@jean-philippelaurinbedard840

is therre a way to share the gpu with the vm machines?
