As a fish breeder I know that I have to create favorable conditions in the fishtank for the fish to breed. I create the right habitat, right light, right Quality food, good clean water free of toxins, the Right temperature. If I do it right the fish will breed..If i do it wrong I have no Spawns, no babies and that equals no business.

Breeding Humans are no different.

Affordable housing, low rents, Good Quality food, right atmosphere, right light and time for a quality life at home for at least one partner.. (no stressors or insecurity of the family future existence)
From my point of view, Many Governments around the world cant manage their fishtank and will go out of business. They bring in 'new fish' from another misfunctioning fishtank as a quick fix but it is not a sustainable solution if the fishtank is toxic.

Stability is a result of our economy's struggles with uncertainty, housing issues, foreclosures, global volatility, and the pandemic's consequences. To restore stability and promote growth, all sectors must respond quickly to concerns about growing inflation, slow growth, and trade disruptions.

@tonysilke

This is not unique to just Japan, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.

@mgauci45

When software started doing the job of hardware, that was the start of Japan's technological industry decline.

It's sad how difficult things have become in the present generation. I was wondering how to utilize some money I had. I used some of it for e-commerce business, but that sank. I'm thinking of how to use what's left to invest, but I don't really know which way to go.

If people can't afford food or housing, don't expect them to have kids.

@Richardcarlett

Bankruptcy is a legal process that individuals or businesses can undergo when they are unable to repay their debts. It provides a framework for financial relief and a fresh start. There are different types of bankruptcy, such as Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 in the United States, each with its own rules and implications. Bankruptcy can have long-term effects on one's credit and financial standing, so it's essential to carefully consider the decision and seek professional advice when facing overwhelming debt.

I'm a frequent traveler to Japan. Couple of years ago I bought a pack of batteries at a tiny family-run store, paid for it in cash. Before walking out I realised I had got the wrong sized batteries. So I went back to the cashier and asked if I could change them and pay the shortfall, again in cash. In any other part of Asia (provided such an exchange is not against shop policy) I would have been waved in, picked up the right item, paid the extra and be done in 2 minutes max. What happened instead was that the shopkeeper VERY POLITELY took the wrong item, voided the transaction on the cash register, PHYSICALLY COUNTED THE CASH AND RETURNED IT TO ME, rang up the new item, took the CASH from my hands again, and printed off the receipt. The meticulousness was touching, but if you want things done efficiently, you would spit blood.

@xDvemDeXandy

It is quite of fascinating how seems like Japan is stuck in 2000 since 1980

@jimmyjigz

If Japan becomes multicultural, it's a devastating lose for humanity

@johndrawing

I think the underlying message is that Japan is capable of bouncing back like it has done in the past. I hope so. I visited Japan and it is an amazing country with wonderful people.

@dpactestaccount

I work for a Japanese subsidiary out here in the US and this video can not be far from the truth. I struggle with my Japanese bosses who are so careful and indecisive that it ultimately leads to inefficiency and delays.

And you are also correct that is in ingrained into them as it is a part of their culture. I love Japan and I want them to succeed in the global stage. However tough times are ahead of us not just Japan but the entire world. I think its just because we have so much shit to worry about and ultimately we need to simplify our lives in all aspects in order to make it through.

@marumarusensei1

I am Japanese, but I don't mind if Japan's economy can no longer keep up with the world.

What concerns me more is that Japan's food self-sufficiency rate is below 30%. I would rather see Japan become an agricultural country, where people live quietly in harmony without excessive ambition, in a nation rich in nature, with clean air and pure water.
And not get involved in any war.

@YOKOHAMABEY9

日本は破産しません。
日本国政府は日本国民からお金を借りているんです。日本国民から大借金をしているんです。外国から借金をしているのではありません。
そして日本の海外資産は何年にもわたり世界一です。

@bmwxpicasso

I went to visit Japan right before the pandemic, and I was shocked almost half of the businesses did not accept credit card. In addition, I was also very shocked to have a hard time finding wifi at cafe's, restaurants, etc. It completely ripped my image of Japan as a progressive and modern country in half. On the flip side, the entire country was very quiet, clean, polite, and very safe.

@balaji1980

China's post-90s economic rise is so eerily similar to Japan's economic rise in the 70s and 80s. The only thing different with China is its population, land and natural resources.

@malinyamato

been working in Japan for 20 years mostly in finance,investment banks... the major problem in Japan is politicians who try to stimulate the economy through massive stupid projects, such as building unnecessary buildings, constructing unnecessary highways, and grand buildings across the country instead of encouraging new businesses.

@MartinThePanda

I can name more than one Japanese tech company: Sony, Toshiba, JVC, Panasonic, Olympus, Nikon, Nintendo, Fujistu, Hitachi, NEC.

@TurkeyFamily

I am still using Daikin air con, driving Mitsubishi outlander, iPhone still using Sony camera sensor. I don’t see they are dying.

@gonzalocunarro

I like how this video just skimed over the plaza accords as something that just happened and not something that was forced on Japan
