Don’t Rely on the government they focus on priorities, don’t make any mistakes on that subject, YOU ARE NOT PRIORITY.

@NYPrepper

When the power is out for a few hours people start freaking out, I can't imagine a few weeks or months of grid down over a heavily populated area. Great video.

For someone who works at night (3rd shift) at a grocery store. We get food goods every 2-3 days (2 days when Holidays are around the corner) from the trucks. Now think: a whole aisle of the cereal section can be gone within a 1½ days. We have over stock in the back but if we stop getting shipping. It's gonna be like Black Friday within 2 weeks. Not just food, even your medicine. Helpful tips: Have (at least) $300 in small cash when you can't go to the bank, have a water key (look it up), have a map of your city, learn how to bath with a bucket & washing clothes, Get in shape (Don't wait when SHTF! DO IT NOW), Walk around your area to have a good view on your get out plan, Never forget about your pets (they gotta live too), baby wipes will be your best friend, & most wonderful tip of them all, BE THE GRAY MAN(Your own family can turn on you. Please be careful who you trust)

As a technician at a new car dealer, I can tell you EMP is devastating to transportation made in the last 30 years. The last one I repaired; every single control module (computer) in the thing except the radio had to be replaced. This was a scenario where the vehicle was too close to building that was struck by lightning. I dont want to think about what would happen if every car ended up that way.

@danielbush2637

Governments be like “oops, nukes incoming, I’m gonna go jump in my shelter.”

People “Hey, our taxes paid for that. What about us?”

Government “relax, we’re doing this for you.” Closes bombproof door.

@kinikia91761

Great video! In 1994, we experienced the devastating Northridge earthquake, though we lived in Valencia, California (Santa Clarita Valley). People have no idea what happens when SHTF...everything goes off grid. At 4:30am in the morning or so at that time, getting out of bed was impossible when it felt like someone was outside of your house holding it in their hand, violently shaking it up and down. We used to have large family portraits above our bed...no more. We lived afterwards with our daughter's room with no door for years due to if you have bookcases or a desk near the doorway, it blocked the door closed...hence couldn't get to her in the room. All electricity is down, trying to drive in the dark you will see aftershocks of the roads coming up in front of you; animals being hit by cars; and an hour later...you see cars with hoodlums driving by to see if they can loot your home (really!!!). You can't get money out from the bank, stores and grocery markets shut down to clean up their messes..but they are already dumping their foodstuff outside in the dumpsters due to electricity is out and foodstuffs are going bad. It was a good thing our sons worked in the grocery markets as they were bringing home in coolers the food they were automatically throwing out...still good, but no sense keeping it because of no electricity. The only item the store was allowed to sell that there were long lines for...Water! We lived in our mini SUV outside of our home for three days. Everything is shut off like gas, water, to minimize any more damage to our home. Going to the bathroom was not safe...everytime you wanted to go...aftershocks made it scary. It was Martin Luther weekend holiday...and I thought I'd go shopping that Monday, do errands like filling gas, go to the bank get some cash, etc. Couldn't do none of that! That weekend...our gas in our cars were at 1/4 tank full. Now we never let it go down less than 1/2 a tank...so now we fill it less something like this happens again. Cell towers go down, so cell phones are not in service for days! Hubby and I are licensed amateur radio operators...it came in handy to know what was going on outside of where we lived. Because we are Harley Davidson enthusiasts at that time...we also had a Harley with a sidecar. We were able to ride around in roads not driveable because of it's manueravability around the roads. And it had lots of gas in it...🙌🏻. I fear that with the electrical cars we have now...no one can move anywhere if SHTF scenario. No electricity to power these vehicles unless you have one that uses half electric and half fuel. We are Overland Bound enthusiasts now and have all those items for camping, i.e., tents, generators (gas) and solar panels, have bug out bags...an Airstream camper, so we're halfway there prepared. Viewing your video...I need to stock up on more water....makes you think more....

@MrDaddynomates

We once had a national tanker truckers strike here in the UK. It only lasted about one week. The absolute chaos it caused was a shock. In just a few days the stores were empty, there was no fuel for cars. It got quite scary. Panic buying emptied the shops.

@johnprim

Who else is chain watching this guys' videos during COVID 19?

@massacmongo995

Most important item .... KNOWLEDGE. If you have the knowledge you can improvise , if you have items you don't know how to use they're worthless

@TBreezy17

At my local flea market I’m always picking up old books on traditional medicine and old time food storage and preparation books. While not always applicable I’ve found the info that our grandparents, great grandparents and beyond very interesting and in a grid down or total SHTF situation it may be nice to at least have some help with old tried and true techniques.

@ritamoore8346

Quiet! Total silence. The only sounds will terrify most. The screams for help!

@TheAgTeam

Superbly concise critically objective insights with great visuals. Must have taken you ages. Your dedication is a true inspiration. So many have no notion just how lucky we were in this last year that we escaped the largest CME’s I’ve ever witnessed, after the sun was not facing in our direction when it unleashed two 10X+ class flares. It is only a matter of time until our luck runs out exposing our vulnerabilities.

@peternorthrup6274

Wait just one minute. AAA said they would come right away. I pay for that service. I come first. Im special. They promised.

@phineasjwhoopie4615

This video certainly clarifies just how dependent society is on power! Also, a good job listing some possible ways that a massive and extensive power failure scenario could happen. It can happen much easier than people realize.

@seniletravel7171

In America, we are expecting this at any moment. The timing of this video is extraordinary!

@jacktragic6375

Great job CP'er. You cover the entire gambit of the "worst case scenario". Been a prepper for years now and add to my cash monthly. Rotate the nonperishables by giving then to local food banks as I restock inventory. Lots of great points here. Keep up the great work!
         😎👌

@johnd4348

In a total grid down SHTF situation, Everything will go back to being local. Farming, and commerce done locally. There will not be stuff coming from across the country like now. Small communities will fair better . Large cities will be total chaos and nonfuctional because people don't have the skills to grow food. People in large cities are not able to function without electricity PERIOD. Just take someone's cell phone away for a day and watch them go insane.

@bugoutbubba3912

Having recently endured a very threatening visit from a very official looking individual, who refused to identity himself, I now believe more than ever the our physical grid is in great danger.
I have for sometime now been heralding the vulnerability of the physical structures in our grid which are ultra vital to electric distribution. I have urged many YouTube channels to join my plea, triggering much mockery and scoffing. Why then, if my assertion is so ridiculous, did this man look me up, follow me to the local laundromat, refuse to identify himself, not so graciously warn me to "shut the fuck up" on threats to our grid components, then drive away in an unmarked vehicle with obscured tags?
I contend that either our power providers don't want to pay for the billions necessary to protect against threats or our government knows that this is a yet unexploited but crucial threat to America (and Canada).
Either way this will be my last mention of the subject. Do with it what you will.

@2LocasBeagles

THANK YOU! You have got to be the first and only person I've heard point out the issue with nuclear power plants! People all LOVE to talk about having a years worth of food. A (lmao) SEEDS they will plant in a grid down situation. There are 98 power plants in the US. Spread over 30 states... In 30 days or LESS. We're all dead!!!

This type of radiation isn't like that from a missile attack (which you COULD survive).

Hope your seeds grow MIGHTY QUICK!

@littleredhen3354

Nailed it on 'just in time delivery'! Work in a well known big box super store and the number of people who think we have all manner of food in 'the back' is scary! (fact, we get trucks daily and it goes straight on the shelves, so if it ain't there, we dont have it!) Customers...you don't have blah blah on the shelves, you need to go 'in the back' (to the magical vending machine) and get me some. Ummm, yeah, that's NOT how it works! We got some random overstock pickles, water and fresh produce/ dairy to last the business day. That's generally it until tomorrow's truck arrives (assuming it arrives!) I dont imagine any profitable competitors have food languishing in their magical vending machines in 'the back' either. Now if you want piles of empty pallets, trash, cardboard, cheap Chinese electronics, clothes made in Bangladesh or broken crap being sent back, you've hit the jackpot! Long story short....if the shtf, what you see is what you get @ (big box super store)
