its not a scam tho.. just maybe a different regulation.. in indonesia its normal, because that was the marketing tactics to get the costumer back to their place, so they can earn more money.. anywhere in indonesia, the vouchers that u acchieved cant be use in the same day.. but there is a trick to do that, after u recieved the vouchers u need to close the bill.. and then open the new one, so u can use it immidiately..

I mean, most Indonesian we're not drinking outside, even if we were, we didn't care of what Challenges on Cafe, specially if you were trying out new cafe that not have many customers, rules of thumbs, if you saw nice place that didn't have regular customer, it's most likely a good thing to avoid. It's not only happening in Indonesia, on other South East Asia as well, similar things happen to my friends when he visits Vietnam a couple months ago

Honestly, the voucher can only use on the next or other day, is very common in Indonesia. The problem is either the bar don't tell you or you don't hear them when they mention that term & condition . So usually, we Indonesian always ask when we can use the voucher. But usually, we can use the voucher in other day until the next 30 day.

You can visit beautiful natural attractions in Java such as Kawah Putih (White Crater), Mount Tangkuban Prahu, etc (West Java), Bromo National Park, Mount Ijen blue fire, Sewu Waterfall, Baluran National Park etc (East Java), Borobudur Temple, Prambanan, etc (Yogyakarta), and so on. yeah usually in Indonesia"s store or merchant, the voucher will be applicable in the second purchase. so, yous hould handle the voucher because of your first purchasing. then when you get second transaction the store or restaurant you can use the voucher.

they have no obligation to hand you out those vouchers to begin with. to me it seems like you rip them off, not the other way around. its their voucher, its their policies. you should have made sure how it works
