I mean let's face it he isn't wrong. We tune in for zombie games and get more human on human and the zombies are just a spacial hazard.

@jcrmarc2037

Dying light 2 feels like the later seasons in the walking dead

@CheeseAndCrackers_

Dying light being human vs human makes sense, the outbreak has been going for 15 years, after a while the zombie go from a massive threat to an obstacle since people get used to them

@dragond177

Dying light 2 - fight bad guys
Dead island 2 - fight zombies

@TheOneButter

zombie stories where they have the revelation of "Humans are the real enemies we need to stop the humans instead" are more common than zombie stories actually about zombies.

even dl1 was kinda like that, with it mainly being about rais and his thugs vs crane and the tower, though the following is probably one of the most unique zombie stories.

@connortollit6120

When you try roasting your competitors but accidentally remind everyone why dying light (1) was the goat of zombies games.

@octaviunhall2566

He wasn't really roasting, just explaining how in zombie apocalypse games, TV shows and movies, it should be HVZ and not HVH and sometimes zombies and if you think about he also roasted ALOT of other zombie games

@DakanX

Bruh he straight up roasted them 😭

@LegionIscariot

He didn't roast Dying Light 2. He just answered the question that was asked.
I agree with him though. Im tired of human drama in zombie games or zombie shows.

@左idari

If LA went through a zombie outbreak, PEOPLE WOULD BE YOUR BIGGEST PROBLEM, then zombies would come mop you up afterwards.

@liamratliff3824

I saw this live. Funny as hell how he basically points out the major problem with dying light 2's story. Also, if you guys didn't know he did this on stream and when I was watching it was hilarious when he brought up dying light. I knew a storm was coming, but I didn't know how bad it would be.😂

Edit: thanks oni for responding to my comment ❤

@Ymir2148.

I still prefer dying light 2 story over this It's not just good versus bad because all the factions are flawed in their own way and have extreme ways of doing things Plus when he started talking about what happened in the past, dyling light two does that as well by integrating them into the main story and side quests

@joshuabarger1215

I both love the zombie focused and human focused side of the games because they're both unique. The human side is knowing what people go through and the zombie side is more of the L4D side.

@dragonking9397

Bro took multiple years to make a game with 12 h of gameplay to get 100% completion

@ashtinoak

I just started dying light 2 these zombies are definitely a vocal point... Running for my life lol

@nopizzawithoutpineapple

He is pretty right about modern trends. Zombie stuff does always seem like one or the other.
The only times I've seen it being both about the zombies and human conflict is Romero's original Dead trilogy. The zombie stuff is the most interesting it ever got in the genre and the human conflict is also my favorite. It gets really sad and cruel, but it's never misery porn cause there's always strong sympathetic characters who stand by their morals and chose hope

@totalrko

He's right, in Dying Light 2 the zombies are only there for you to be pushed to another story point, outside of that, they rarely pose a threat.

@furyrust

I think he's saying it generally not only to DL2.

@owen9357

That’s too bad cause that dead island two has 24 fucking story missions, and the only good thing about the game is the fighting, which is a very good part but dying light has a good story even better and faster fighting
