What to pick if I dont have any DaVinci options for timeline color space?
Bro yoou really help me alot cause i've been wondering why my preview color and output color doesn't match at all even the output i change into rec 709-a (i'm using macbook air m1), I'm trying the other tutorial but they didn't explain the Davinci YRGB and Davinci WG at all, just found this tutorial cause i'm not touching davinci like 2 weeks and this videos shows up, no BS just the truth thank you so much, Subscribe you bro
Hi :) Can you explain why you still Gamma 2.4 in your ODT Output gamma? Why not Rec-709-A? :)
hey! which settings do you recommend for HDR delivery?
Question: I see other colorists tag rec 709 in both spaces in the advanced section of the delivery page. My understanding is that it helps with consistency across various platforms. Do you have insight or experience with this? Thank you!
thank you for the effort bro , but i think if i am going to use my colored footage in social media it is better to stick with Rec.709 Gamma 2.4 even if i am mac user . i see it gives consistent result across other devices.:)
Bro, I like your videos, but why would you grade a video in a color space that's designed to compensate for gamma shifts only present in Apple SOFTWARE (Quicktime, Finder Preview, etc.)? And the gamma shift occurs only locally on your machine - if you upload the 709 2.4 video to YouTube, it'll be displayed correctly, even on a Mac. Or even in any other video player, like VLC, on your own Mac, it'll look just fine. Grading for 709-A is like grading for a toy display and expecting the footage to look great on any other regular TV.
great video thanks! I notice a huge difference, when using the last cst to rec709, between gamma 2.4 and rec709-A (same as timeline) so which one is correct?
