@oatscurry

Hi there John Marty, I want to simply say thank you for providing links to LSAT questions. These are invaluable and truly help me elevate my brainpower. Best wishes to you!

@Mishtronik

No offense but if you graduated a BC and then found a non-coding role because of your advanced business degree compounded by the BC then the BC has no delivered on its central promise.

I would suspect most people who attend think they could land a programming role. It sounds like in your case you attended the BC to increase the size of your doorway into the business and product side of tech, for which you already had a traditional educational background.

This is a highly specific scenario, and may suggest that you actually side-stepped or failed to become a production capable junior engineer. So with that in mind, how beneficial was your BC to converting people to engineering roles?

@inezneal7258

Why does everyone want to loan , people need grants. Everyone tries to convince you to put yourself in debt. There needs to be more grants less debt.

@mattupham

I went to a coding bootcamp in San Francisco last year. The whole process was extremely challenging - I made a playlist of videos on the experience, the challenges, and the harsh realities of the job search. Overall though, I do think it was worth the time (looking back now, a year later)

@andresedu297

Hello John, It has been a pleasure to see you and clarify my doubts a bit. I do not speak a lot of English and this may complicate things. But I have an additional question: Between web development BC and Data Science BC what do you recommend? what do you think is the better option for someone without any experience?

@kolyxix

At this point in time, we can all agree that coding boot-camp is ineffective in teaching a complicated topic that is constantly evolving withing a specific time-frame. Online platforms like udemy, freecode camp, teamtreehouse are better alternatives. More flexible and cost-effective.

@CableLineNetwork

I just did the logic questions, yea i got a few wrong, but my soul got so excited doing it, i kept going through the possibilities, and i loved visualizing it, honestly i might do like 2 or three of those aday. Thank you, now i'm sure coding is for me. Matter of fact i'm going to try another one now.

@joshadams8761

Thanks for the video. I couldn’t agree more about the importance of passion. I am so passionate about software development that it doesn’t feel like work. Work days fly by.

@if_then_statement

Thanks for the video John. I'm starting a 6 month data science bootcamp in two weeks at Northwestern University. This video definitely makes me excited for my own course :)

@muddasirkhan805

thank you! dental care video next, may be? :) because ones presentation also talks volume in interviews and you seem to rock every detail of appearance! thanks!

@mmbower1

Great stuff. Subscribed.

@heavysummer

John, are certain boot camps better than others? I’m currently in a boot camp and the teaching style is terrible! (In person) .. any reccomendations?

@selnaish

What did you study in collage ? I am currently business in collage and my dream is to work at amazon or any tech company. How do I make myself stand out when I graduate collage soon and want to apply for a job???

@TheEODWester

Why does he keep looking around all suspicious, like he's selling national secrets?

@chilodaone

How many people in that bootcamp you went to had an actual programming background? I did Civil Engineering and I'm interested in a change of career.

@jasmineward7897

Hey my name's Jasmine and I'm looking into IT and I'm debating on getting a two year degree or doing self taught coding to start off. My goal is to learn code and learn web development to build my own website and to even do freelance work! What advice you have

@jjayguy23

Nice bod bro! Nice muscles!!

@Coachwojo69

I too completed my MBA and am considering a coding bootcamp to begin a career in technical product management. Would it be possible to connect so I can pick your brain a little bit?

@chorezap

good advice. I am thinking of going to mgmt. Does Scrum certification help for a job in prod mgmt?

@Heysaywhatnow

Did you have any coding/computer experience prior to taking the bootcamp?
