Very basic month filter might be something to consider for this one. Going back 12 years to 2010 it looks like June has been a negative month on both the long and the short side. Kind of makes sense I guess given it is summer there is probably less likely to have supply shock and big price moves.

Hello Dave. I haven't seen the Big Foot yet , but some people swear they have. I'm afraid you don't use walk-forward to develop your strategies. So how do you go about defining the system's input values?

And going forward, when one trades this system, would the parameter values be kept constant (breakout length of 11, time exit of 13, etc.)?
