Iβm trying to learn and vibe at the same time. Wish me luck
One month and only 150 likes? insane, this is such a well made and amazing video, definitely gave very clear pros in cons and hit many topics/categories that really help. taking an intro course for a certificate in Python next month, so trying to learn a bit before i start the learning grind.
I have JavaScript enable in about:config in Firefox yet I still get "you must enable javascript" what gives?
There is not a single con to learning python as your first language. Itβs the easiest language to learn, and it teaches you how to program faster than any other language there are no cons to that itβs just a steppingstone to other technologies.
Im in my early 30s, had a serious injury not too long ago so i have a lot of time at home to learn a new skill, I wonder if python is the right choice for the first language to learn or perhaps a different one, I started 2 days ago but this question was on my mind all last night
If you don't like coding databases and data science, you might want to avoid Python. > You can do everything in any language and the claims that xyz are only suited for xyz only hold up in certain domains C++ is difficult to use object code, and its all but impossible in Rust. So forget them for data science. On the other hand, high level languages like Python can't be used for system programming.
so the first language we learn at university was C and it was worth it , cuz u learn all the basics how the computer works memory allocation..etc
The biggest disatvantage of learning Python AS First language ist that ITS gonna be Tuff learning a Syntax heavy strictly OOP language Like Java. IMO start with java, c++, c# and then Afterwards ita gonna be easy peasy to Pick Up Python
I grew up using BASIC in 6th grade on my own at home.... Then Pascal... then fortran... then C/C++, and Assembly and many other languages. I write a lot of C# and SQL stuff for backend API's and such now. Our company has some python scripts that I have to make modifications to... I can do it... but can't get my head around it completely. Feels like I'm getting dumber by using it.
I love to make games. Probably want to set my carrer as a game dev, so is python compatible or usable in Unreal engine?
Super early!!
