That first caller sums up why United are where they are , never willing to face up to reality . You were playing spurs not Madrid

@fullmetalalkami6466

This caller is forgetting that Spurs beat Man Utd 4 times this season.

@HerawatiJayanti

As I watch this, I can't stop smiling.

I disagree with the notion that a manager cannot do well without "his" players. Tuchel came to Chelsea after Lampard said "they cannot compete" and took them to an FA Cup final, won the UCL and the Super Cup. He didn't get "his players" in yet won with what he had available. Why, thats my second point.

A manager must not be rigid in a structure. Saying he has his structure and wont budge is very childish and immature. Again, Tuchel came to Chelsea, identified the najor problem, which was their defensive structure, and fixed it by playing a back 3 and adapting to the players he had available. It worked. So too Conte when he arrived at Chelsea and now in Napoli. Scott McTominay is the reason Conte ditched 343 to play 433 in Naples, so he could get the best out of Scott. These are managers who think abd adapt to their players.

Even Ange had to adapt from his rigid high backline. He saw it would be the end of him at Spurs and adjusted it, i mean, Spurs played a backline of 5/6 players in a low block in that final.

Adapt to the situation and thrive. Thats the manager's job. Not these silly excuses of not having their players

@jackworton7252

As Ralf Ragnick said a few seasons ago, this is the open heart surgery needed. Season after season of papering over the cracks. Sell, sell, sell, 15+ players and start again

@ashleyburns6752

When the decline began under Moyes, I think we all expected two or three years max of entertainment, but this last 12 years has been awesome๐Ÿ˜‚.

@seancampbell7884

What's with Man U fans acting like they were the better team? It's not dissimilar to the FA Cup final. Just because a team sits deep and defends a lead doesn't mean they were outplayed. Ange went in with a clear game plan and it paid off.

@silverleaves7

On YouTube last night a United fan said he expected a top six finish next season, unreal arrogance and attitude, United haven't gone down this season be grateful for small mercies.

@charlesleighton8015

Coronation STREET was 100% more exciting than that game last night.

@seancampbell7884

Amorin was appointed in November and has taken Man U from 14th to 16th. Eddie Howe was appointed in November 2021 and took Newcastle from the relegation zone to 11th. Just don't really buy that Amorin needs this much time to make Man U at least a bit better.

@Wubslin

They're circling the drain
They're circling the drain
Man Utd
They're circling the drain

As a United fan Iโ€™m almost glad, because us failing financially is the only way we will get rid of the glazers

@MARKD-sk4jo

The exceptionalism with man united fans is another level. They don't have a divine right for anything.

As a Leeds fan Iโ€™m loving it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@samfrancisss

All the years growing up having to suffer Man United fans that live nowhere near Manchester and only support them because of glory, now whining because they're rubbish. Absolutely glorious. Maybe if they supported their local team they wouldn't have to suffer.

@michaelairley2015

As a Liverpool fan. I loved it.

@FitzroyGeorge-c4h

"that's who we are mate". But Ange adjusted to get the job done.
