@onionallium2543

its so terrifying how much a phone resembles an actual drug addiction....

@zoecysewski6319

The part "scrolling through your photos" is so real

@cenz_amv

I fear that when I die I won't see memories in front of my eyes but thousands of reels

@salwaabdullahi5945

The fact that this felt so accurate. Deleted Instagram and tiktok and i found myself visiting my gmail every 10 minutesšŸ˜‚

@pwelsh6501

Saddest thing is seeing the older generation waste their remaining years just staring at their phone. No final goals and dreams just wasting their remaining years glued to social media

@guillermoramirez7548

ā€œYou’ll feel like a kid againā€ is the perfect description. I did this for 6 months and it was the best decision I ever took. You can seriously turn your life around by doing this.

@kamillacsanadi6498

"I only have like 2 friends anyway" REAL

@vikuxy

I don’t want to die and realize that I’ve been watching videos for half my life or more. I want to live in the other 50% now

@shaista.saffari

The scrolling through gmail hit different😭😭

@tinylifeoflin

i only kept youtube and have actually learned so many more things. i started editing cinematic videos, learning languages, reading, crochet, go outside on hikes and stuff. i love this. i ofc am still texting ppl sometimes, but i do prefer calling bc its easier and more real. im so much happier now

@Usthereout

Honestly thought I was crazy for not liking instagram. Everyone around uses it, but I immediately get a pit in my stomach when I’m on it.

Deleted it a year ago now and my mental health is just much more stable.

@humanwiggle

getting off social media gave me the mental space to create so much change in my life. started reading books, going on bike rides, simply spending time outside with my dogs, learning guitar, knitting. literally became so much easier to do the things i've always yearned to do without the incessant and uncontrollable urge to go on social media and waste away so much precious time. my brain definitely tried to convince me not to delete it and i even have cravings to re-download it at times, seriously feels like trying to overcome a drug addition

@kausturmer

I just can’t be bothered to social media anymore

@Usthereout

Deleted twitter, TikTok, and instagram. My attention span has already gotten better within a week, and I’m enjoying real life more.

@ChanYiChing6L-rv6ow

ā€˜Will my friends think that I’m weird just because I don’t use social media?’ This is the biggest problem that I face.

@nicolafiorillo4048

delete everything, life becomes magic. you will embrace again hobbies that you abandoned long ago and be happy about it

@joeyywill1234

side note: having no socials etc makes you more interesting. People don't know what you've been doing so you have more to talk about with people

@IkerUnzu

Best decision ever. I made it because I felt deeply depressed, but I’m so happy now. Also started meditating and exercising, which also contributed to me being happier and more aware. Being present is life changing and it’s sad that social media is taking that away from people… I also started painting which I recommend a lot !! It’s very therapeutic šŸŒ±šŸ§˜šŸ¼āœØ

@macewindu6853

When we were kids, we didn’t have all this tech and social media, when we were bored we had to find things to do, and our parents wouldn’t let us get everything we wanted. This discipline is lost when we’re older, because now we make our own decisions. In a weird way, we kind of have to be parents to ourselves, making the uncomfortable decisions that will only make us better, healthier, and happier

@Fraupachino

We all deleted our social media accounts but we’d never give up YouTube. It’s pretty much impossible
