So many personal success stories here – it's inspiring to see how keto has helped people reclaim their health, despite the questionable dietary advice we've been given for years. Maybe it's time to question everything we thought we knew about "healthy" eating and listen to our bodies.
Hahaha. I love KETO. It's a lifestyle!! It's about getting healthy and feeling good. I'm a type 1 diabetic and I'm so happy now that I don't need to inject insulin 5 times a day. I'm 21yrs old. And I wasn't overweight. But I stick to keto because I can now feel good.
Keto completely changed my life! I lost 33 pounds the first 2 months and whenever people who haven’t seen me in weeks see me again they always tell me I look thinner.
Keto for 4.5 years. Going great! Not epileptic. No bone fractures. Cheat with carbs 1x/week. Most important, haven't gained weight back
Science Insider can make ANYTHING look bad
Ive recently started following the ketogenic diet with the HyperKeto plan, and I have to admit, Im seeing some impressive results! Energy all day long, and the fat is melting away.
I don’t trust anything the USDA recommends
This video is fear mongering, pure and simple. It's blowing any negative side effects of keto way out of proportion. Keto is much closer to how we're biologically evolved to eat & thrive. Basing what you eat on USDA recommendations is like taking driving lessons from a fish.
I tried it for some time. It helped me with weight and how awake I was during the day. But the first 2-3 weeks here between bad and horrible. At the 3 day mark my sugar levels were so low that I could not understand the concept of "time", just spacial dimensions.
Calories in vs. calories out.... what’s so hard about that. There are literally no magic tricks.
Embarking on my ketogenic diet journey and Ive chosen HyperKeto. Hoping it helps me achieve my health and fitness goals hehehe
“Go ahead and get that bread” - and bottle of whiskey with block of malboros. We gotta sell our meds to someone, right?
Is funny how the public ( the majority including me) are having great results but the “research” shows different
Lots of people recommend supplementing sodium and magnesium
"And yes even carbs" 😩😞
I am in mid 30s and I have suffered from acnes for most of my adolescence and adulthood. For additional context, from my family, I also have the genetic predisposition for diabetes T2. Last year I became a vegetarian and it helps a lot. Two weeks ago, I started a keto diet and the immediate impact on my skin is magic. I have less redness and I stopped breaking out. I used to be hungry all the time and that also stopped. My mood is stable and I am losing weight. It's amazing.
