Parking forward in a bay is NOT recommended. It is much better to reverse in and not have to worry about having to reverse while potentially having no vision of vehicles and pedestrians. Always reverse in if possible even if it means you have to load the car awkwardly. Having an accident and hurting someone would really ruin your day... Especially with all the scammers out there.

At my local co op, it's always recommended to reverse bay park because it's always busy and a small car park.

Of course reverse parking would make leaving the bay safer and less chance of hitting a passing car , pedestrian or shopping trolley !

The title says forward bay parking NOT reverse bay parking. I don't know why that's hard for some of you lot to understand. He's not asking which is better forward or reverse is he. Anyways the video is wrong 😂

It looks very simple and nice “on paper” and on free parking. But in real life you should not think about the line and your mirror 😂 Because in the slot on right from your one could stay big pickup truck. And it could say “hello” to your right back door. So I just want to say - don’t try to park “like one guy said in a video on YouTube”. Try to feel your car, try to feel surroundings and do it not by the lines but with your eyes, hands and brains. Try it again and again and again. Just go to supermarket parking in rush hour and spend there 30 minutes with practice in different slots.

Completely empty car park, stops a bay earlier than description. Drives over white lines. If this was a populated car park, that would have been a potential crash.
