Y'all call her dumb but that's WHY she has an attorney. She doesn't know the law, or what a lot of the legal terms mean. Her lawyer isn't doing his job, and isn't helping her much at all. He's just.... There.

Nah you can't blame the attorney, she just ain't listening to nothing being said to her or read to her... The Attorney said "We want a Deferred Adjudication", and then when the judge asked her she said "Conviction"... That's 100% the plaintiff's stupidity, not the lawyer's...

The lawyer likely went over everything but she wasnt listening or heard what she wanted to hear and now that she is being sentenced, she's acting like she is hearing it for the first time. Sorry, I'd give the lawyer the benefit of the doubt over the defendant. I think the lawyer is OVER dealing with her.

I have seen that 'should retire' attorney in many cases where he does nothing at all but stare at their client. He needs to either retire or the judge needs to speak up & out to this worthless lawyer. He is ALWAYS like this.
