"There isn’t a guaranteed better day". That’s the most beautiful sentence I’ve heard this year. Wow.
How sweet to honor your mother in that way... Maggie is your safe place...like a mother's soft hug... what a beautiful build...
Worked 2 jobs while building my 13x20 ft tiny house. All by myself. I'm 63, just retired on a mountain, 30ft from water. My Lil heaven.
And I must say this is one of the prettiest and most comfortable looking van builds I’ve ever seen. Congratulations!
As a physician who retired after 32 years of practice, I commend you on fulfilling your dreams while you could. What a beautiful tribute to your Mom! Your van is one of the most beautiful builds I have seen. And you did it yourself! Well-done!!! Best of luck and success to you in your adventures. The rest of us will follow along vicariously. Thank you! 😊
Kacie - I really like you, you're well thought out and purposeful on your build. The colors are calming, everything feels gentle around you. May you find great joy on your journey. Your Mother would be proud.
This is by far my absolute favorite van build. It's cute but the functionality to fit her personally is what I loved so much. She has 3 ways to charge her electrical system and she did it all herself. What impressed me the most was she wanted to build it by herself so she could fix it when things go wrong. Trust me things will go wrong but I would bet her freedom and peace of mind outweighs whatever might go wrong. Great video, I loved it.
Awh this made me cry, what a heartfelt story. I love Maggie’s story 🚐 ✨
I feel the same… medical school, residency, constant night shifts and I’m longing to be free … well done for taking the leap! Wishing you many amazing moments ❤
My father passed away at 54 years old from cancer. I truly appreciate your outlook on living every minute to its fullest.
Just WOW!!! This van is BEAUTIFUL! And the fact that she built everything herself... I'm so impressed!
Amazing build out van and even more amazing you broke the mold and opted to do this early in life. I am a 67 year old nurse who is looking at my next option and van life is 1 of the options or liquidating everything and start traveling globe with my dog.
Losing a parent is really hard. I’m so sorry for your loss. Your van is really nice and congratulations.
At your age you have already achieved a significant goal in your life. I hope it brings you all the happiness you’re hoping for. Congratulations!
Your Mom would be so proud of you. You are a lovely person and so is your special home. Thank you for sharing with us.
Wise woman. Courageous. A beautiful way to live and honor herself and her mother. ❤
I LOVE this van home! And I applaud her courage in choosing to travel NOW at this point in her life. I did my traveling (overseas) in my 20’s. I had friends & family who gave me grief about it at the time, but I had always dreamed it, so I did it. My last big venture was in 2010. And as you can’t plan everything, I’ve had health issues in the past few years, so now I am unable to do that kind of travel. Had I waited & traveled when OTHER PEOPLE told me I should, it would have ended up undone. So, I say to you, dear lady, GOOD FOR YOU! And you made a wise choice in your companion as well. 😸Happy travels to you!! ❤️🌹
I love her attitude. Fear is what pushed me to learn new things. Van builds weren't a thing when I was young and even at nearly 70, if I was healthy enough to do it, I'd be busy building one myself. As it is, it's difficult for me to find people to garden or work on the house in the country where I live, and it's all I can do when I'm a bit better to keep up with exterior painting and garden work. If you're young, and this appeals, go for it! Go for it no matter your age if you have the health to do so!
finally, a layout I could live with. Great idea to put the toilet on wheels, also.
