Mad Dog Murdock. What a flexible actor. A++
I remember being both fascinated and terrified when I first saw this...
Reg had one of the best combovers ever.
"I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that."
Mr Barclay and Q are the most interesting characters in Star Trek history ššš
That look in Barclay's eyes. It's as if he knows Frakes took the last bagel in the break room. š
This is such a good episode.
This was one of my very very favorite episodes of star trek next generation, The man who's attached to the computer. The actor is the same actor that played the part of Oppenheimer in a movie.Just about ten years ago
It's curious since in a lot of other episodes, the ship's (fabulous) computer needs outside help. In this case it's the reverse. Also the light beams into Barclay's head are so simple but obviously conveying a meaning. I bet the set designers were like "hey, this is pretty radical, right?" as they built it
He needed to love a plan when it comes together.
the HAL9000 reference made me cheer and clap when i first saw this episode
One of the better episode of TNG.
This set was f'n fabulous! And the storyline spectacular. And filming those 5 lasers live (and not adding them in in post production) was beautifully done
30,000 lightyears in 10 seconds. Awesome episode.
"Amy: Murdock, why are you eating a sandwich that's frozen... Murdock: Because I'm a madman!"
He love it when a plan comes together
I love that the neural interface didn't even exist before that. The computer told him there was "no such device on file." "No problem, here's how you build it."
Nice knowing you Mr. Barclay.
Ah, that time when Barclay became Hal ... or something to that effect.
