Based on your prior office update video I went down the flexispot path for my own home office revamp recently with their E7 model desk. It has proven to be a great investment...super stable in both sitting and standing heights and the 70x30 size provides lots of room for both my work and personal system configs. For the focusrite, you can get the Anker USB 3.0 KVM switch so you don’t neeed to do a full kvm. I just installed mine and it works great!

I have the M3 Max Macbook Pro and for my desk an iMac i9 5700xt. I bought the laptop to replace my iMac only to be limited by the ram (48gb). For running multiple apps at once I go back to the iMac, despite being a less optimized computer. After watching this I may just aim for a PC 🙌🏽 Great video, Will!

For sound i think you could look at the rodecaster duo or stremer X. They have dual pc input.

7:53 if that audio device has an output to USB A, not sure doubt it, but if it does then you can use a KVM switch. You might can find a KVM with audio input, either optical or 3.5mm, I do think 3.5mm exist but I not an audio guy, don't know if would lose audio quality that way. But my opinion, keep the audio setup on ONE machine that is more dedicated to recording audio, zoom etc, which I suggest the MAC.

I read through most of the comments, and I don’t think I saw someone say this. Because you have a RTX 4090 and such a powerful pc, I HIGHLY recommend that you get a higher refresh rate monitor. Just advice, take it if you want. Overall I think the setup is beautiful! Keep up the good work!

7:29 too many clicks. i will be doing a build soon, well started ordering parts (this case was serious contender alternating few times between 1st & 2nd, but decided against it). What i will be doing to switch is work with KVM switch. so plug laptop, PC, keyboard, mouse and any external hard drive/thumb drive and all i gotta do is click one button on the KVM device or the included wired remote, which can be mounted under the table. KVM monitor would be best, but havent found one that suit my liking.

I think you can buy (or build) way better custom mechanical keyboards that allow you to easily switch between devices. On those keyboards there are usually a pc/mac switch so I think that you can plug the 2.4 ghz usb into the pc and have the bluetooth on the macbook and it can connect just like your keyboard. Not sure tho. Great setup btw! <3

Focusrite Scarlett Solo. Question; How much B roll do you take when making videos, do you just take a lot and use what you need, or is alot of it intentional when capturing. Because thats a lot of B roll. Amazing quality.
