@sgc603

Undergrad degree in Chemical Engineering was considered the hardest in the late 1960s because of all the chemistry one had to take. Basically, a chemistry major and an engineering major.

@illiad8748

Bro finally wore a different shirt 😂 good to see a new video man

@lfpurpose

"Industrial engineering is not a real major so we're not gonna cover it"

Thanks, I just applied to study industrial engineering this summer but if it's not hard or fundational enough to cover it in this video I'm less afraid of it now :D

@ilovefujifilmandcanon

You inspired me to take computer engineering two years ago. Your videos are amazing :)

@PeterCarky

Thank you for making these types of videos. I'm starting college this fall for engineering and have found that I'm interested in a lot of the different engineering fields. Your videos have helped me to narrow down my choices, and I'm grateful there're people like you willing to share your expertise for free on the internet in an effort to help people like me make a really tough (but exciting) decision.

@sdfgspto

Ali your passion for electrical engineering always fascinates me and makes my day. I wish some day I could find my own field with half the passion you have for EE. Im more into the medical and biomedical side of things, but engineering is something that has always fascinated me a little bit as well. Unfortunately I have a lot of trouble finding my path. Nevertheless keep up the good work

@yoakefurasshu

Biomedical Engineer here, we have three major branches: Biomechanics & Robotics, Biomaterials, Medical Software & Electronics. But at the core we all had subjects stretched across all of the engineering majors. Very nice video!

@FutureTechnology-zi5hk

Great analysis, as a civil engineering student, I learned how important physics is to my major, I was struggling with a lot of concepts such as analyzing forces and loads because my physics foundation was not so strong. Now things are getting clear, I just gotta continue improving and practicing.

@Said-op8of

Thank you bro. I've come to realize that I can't live in lifelong insecurities for not getting done with what I fear. Passing all those grades in school and college years still didn't give me any form of understanding on these subjects of complex mathematics Rather than just copy pasting bunch of variables and rules. I chose different career option, I chose commerce but now after five years I'm now in need of changing my lane for another attempt. I've to master what I don't understand or deem to be difficult. That's it no turning back.

@Vitala_Tapok

Nah bro, chemical engineering ia crazy, it's like having both chemistry major and mechanical engineering majors at once

@MosesMatsepane

Great video, the intellectual snobbery in Engineering is the worst. Anyway, I did Computer Systems Engineering, you are spot on when you say people need to follow their natural curiousity. There were so many people that were in my class back then that hate, and I mean hate Engineering. The only reason they were there was because apparently, "Engineering pays really well". Most of those people today left the field or are "project managers" or "strategic executives". 🙄They don't even remember what a semi-conductor is, they forgot 99% of the knowledge that they gained from their studies. Always follow a path that seems natural to you but seems very difficult if not impossible for most people, that's the sweet spot.

@zyadhamed1135

Biomedical engineer here. A pretty good video and I should say that indeed BME is a super interdisciplinary field. I find this very convenient because I love exploring several fields and making connections with them, which is common in this major. For the first 2 years we sort of get the core of sciences from both mechanics-based and electromagnetics-based majors. However, we do get specialized in specific tracks like Biological Signal and AI, Medical Equipment and Imaging Modalities, Robotics and Biomechanics, or Software Engineering on the 3rd and 4th years.
Keep up your videos!

@coltonpulokas

This is a great video for me, a high school student thinking about what I'd like to major in. I love how you clickbaited us with that thumbnail and explained why we shouldn't think about it like that. Thanks for the valuable information! :)

@tmanwattsutube

I love how you make videos about other videos that frustrate you and give us a "real world" view from "the other side"! Thanks for you efforts!

Ali when I was a kid in India, I was fascinated by Magnets, Antennas, Coils, Bicycle Dynamos, Motors, Engines, Bulbs, Batteries etc. I always wanted to know the science behind all these things. My father who was a Mechanical Engineer use to explain me the basics. Today I have a Master's Degree in Electronics
& Communication Engineering. Even today I have a curious mind which I use to have as a child...🙂🙂

@DarylChris

When you said figure out what part interests you, I said “Everything, everything interests me”, that’s when I decided Mechatronics Engineering is a perfect fit for me

@bhaveshx08

This seems like a thing of unmatched worth for a senior at high school interested in engineering major at College.

@NathanMoe-t5m

I’m glad you explained everything in full detail. Most people think electrical engineering is the hardest because it’s abstract and that’s not true. Just because it’s abstract doesn’t mean it’s harder, it’s only gonna be harder if you’re not curious just like you said

@jayeshlale1999

Well, now it's because of you that I just realized I'm not into circuits, sensors and chips but still have to study that. Thanks to you!!
