I initially did the big ticket buy, 150k into SCHD, 75k TSLA, 25k VYM, 25K VUG, AMZN 25K. Now I'm dca buying roughly 2k every week of whatever is on sale, and looking to add more tech positions to my portfolio. I'm looking to hold long term 15 - 20 years, so hopefully my lump sum buy in doesn't bite me in the ass long term.

Your view of the market is logical and well reasoned. With the stocks that you gravitate to, why wouldn't the average retail investor just put their money in the S&P 500 and forget about it? P.S. Of course, your stocks are beating the Magnificent 7. They have been by far the biggest winners over the last few years. Of course, people are going to look to those stocks to sell in order to salvage some of their profits. This downturn of tech stocks is 100% due to one irresponsible man, not any underlying problems in the sector. Unless you believe he is going to continue playing his hand so poorly, the recovery should be pretty quick.
