I've been coding professionally for +20 years and enjoyed this video very much. You have the drive to do what most don't.
Everytime I feel down, I just come and re-watch this video and it gives me some motivation. Then i go back and try understand WTF is Djikstra Algorithm
This video is perhaps the best guide to learn anything you want. Currently implenting it, and I got to say. It works like a charm!
That's really cool. I am 52yo and learned C++ all by myself in 1991-1992. This led me to code damn cool systems and understand how the system worked under the hood. Fast forward to present day, I am running my own business since 22+ years and everything had been paid by writing code, specs, and stuff related to code in this beauty of a place I would never ever have dreamed of when I was debugging low level concurrent serial port code in the corner of the bedroom. Code is power.
This guy taught himself C++ on his own, not much people has such courage š
thanks for putting out this information and telling us about your journey. I have always struggled with code but also always knew that I really need to be just sitting down and forcing myself to know it intimately if I want to really get a good job somewhere. I look forward to watching more of your videos and reaching out from time to time when I get discouraged with the process. thanks again.
never been this motivated , currently working in a non I.T field but my goal n heart is in I.T thanks for sharing this !
Great video, inspiring stuff! I chipped away at coding for an hour or two a day for a year before learning full-time for 8 weeks until I get my first job. It's a grind but one I'll never regret
I really believe that you can learn to code in 3/4 months, but learning to code well takes time
It's incredible that you did ALL of this in just 3 months. Honestly, I would have have sat just with one of these for more than 3 months. Shows me where and what I need to work on(mostly mental). Thanks for this video. Hope you upload more content
I always keep coming back to this video for some direction!
A degree that costs a lot but qualifies you for nothing. Whew I felt that I went to art school LMFAOOO
This video is completely unedited, and he really talks about his experiences, I love this guy.
Coding Jesus you are great man. Really love your content. Big Fan :)
i am an experienced programmer, i recently learned i suck at algos and data structures. i feel exactly as you are. i recently failed. i am going to start over
Thank you for your story, sir. Iām 30, CFA L3, work in IB, but I started to feel what you felt in PE companies :) the pure finance / lead advisory practice is enough for me. Your story gives me a hope.
One of the best vids on this subject I've seen on YT, and I've seen a lot.
Thanks for the advice bro! Im on a similar path, just did 4 years of business and honestly, I feel like if a person wants to study business take micro/macro economics and watch CNBC for 6 months. Alot of business comes down to policies and procedures and studying algorithms and being able to create software puts you in a much more powerful position in a business setting. I'm self studying programming and will use you tips. Thanks again.š
Yes. This year I started with some pet projects. 1) an etl tool 2) an awk clone for windows 3) a scripting language whose main feature is talking to serial and network connected devices
