@TheChartistYT

I have been shopping for a house for over a year now and I absolutely refuse to give someone $200,000 over what they paid for it 3 years ago.

@Matt_K

This lady talking about all the issues with her Lennar home might want to walk door to door and talk to all her neighbors and compile a list of all the homeowners having issues and organize a class action lawsuit against Lennar.

@dotdot-o6k

the SAME thing is also going on in the car market.

i bought a 2021 toyota tacoma. certified preowned with 12000 miles. its was brand new basically.

17 days in it stopped working. there were rats who ate the wiring. they wanted $2k to fix it. a problem that is a manufacturer issue because the wires are coated in soy, and it came that way from the dealer.

would i spend $2k on a lawyer? or $2k at the dealer.

i went on youtube and fixed it myself for $200 and sheilded the wires in staineless steel and pvc (non soy) electrical tape.

new gm vehicles have lifters failing in 1-2 years. new ford have rubber oil pump belts that will fail in 1-3yrs.

LEARN to work on your own things, homes and cars and even food.

the system is trashed. the greed and lack of quality is rampant. educate yourself they way people did in the past and trust NO ONE. warranties are useless

@maryrenaud6732

This is an argument for buying a smaller older home that is well maintained, confirmed by inspectors you hire, not recommended by a realtor.

@robertmitchell8630

Prices even down is still too high

@pn2543

High schools getting rid of shop classes was a mistake, I took carpentry, wood shop, and electronics shop in high school way back, my sons high school had no shop classes

@luigijohson6732

It’s honestly shocking but not surprising to see this housing bubble finally hit its breaking point. So many of us have been watching the signs for years artificial price hikes, predatory lending rebranded as “opportunities,” and people overleveraging just to own something. It’s heartbreaking for the families caught in the middle of this collapse, but it’s also a wake-up call we can’t ignore.

@Gibbs1022

150k homes being sold for 400😂

@TreatsOnTheStreets

The issues with recent new construction carries to the automotive industry as well. Anything designed, developed and built during the pandemic years is complete junk. Buy pre owned!

@AJSHOPE

I went to that NewHomeSource. I checked Wentzville, MO and clicked on the Hot Deals button and I was shocked. Multiple properties with $50,000 to $100,000 price cuts. A 3,135 sq ft home for $338,900. Everyone is talking about Florida and Texas, but things are about to collapse across the country.

@RichieRage

If its not a 60%+ crash, I dont care to buy

@markphillips9822

People are so gullible. Imagine buying a house at the very top of the market. Then it's not worth what you paid for it.

@tandylynnennis9639

My Papa always said, "Never buy a house built after 1981 bc the building standards changed."

@kidwichita

There are builders in my area that are still building like we are in a housing boom. The prices are pushing half a million and there are people still paying that. Some of the homes are being built on foundations that sat open for years or framing that sat open for years among other things. One builder is using "a preferred lender." That to me means these people buying are risky borrowers. One out of state builder has tens of millions negative portfolio. I think they're trying to get as much sold before bankruptcy.

@tarynadams848

I live in kingwood and am looking for a house right now. I learned yesterday that the new development that you were showing, the builders went bankrupt and construction has stopped

@chuck-wv9nh

"The median home sold price in Escondido, CA was $842,200 in May 2025. "

(That's a basic two bedroom in a semi-crappy neighborhood. Who can buy that?)

 "The average annual salary in Escondido, CA is $47,497".....

????????????????????

@tarrot12580

I couldn't afford any home new or old. But I wouldn't live in New home cause I don't wanna deal with an hoa or having neighbors so close.

@tonychavez3679

All contractors have a bond in order to be in business. You can submit a clam through their bond. The bond will get another contacter to fix it. In the meantime, the bond company will go after the contacter. In California, that contacter will be out of bessness if they don't address the problem.

@johnracek7633

old homes and old cars have proven mileage !

@ritad7927

This is what happens when people believe the wonderful media and suffer from FOMO. I'm so glad I listened to you and your buddy Orlando. Keep doing what you do Travis. Thank you. ❤️
