Good job figuring that out. A handshake is available upon request.

@AndrewWainwrightPA

The four chords are the four tempers. In order: woe, malice , frolic and dread. 💚

@bugjuicer

I normally skip intros after the first episode, but I have to watch this each time, it's insane

@Bleshooo

The theme is mysterious and important

@UnnDunn

Congratulations Charles C. You have earned a one hour music dance experience.

@ryan_raus

As popular as this show is getting I still don’t think it’s popular enough

@gd_carb0n

1:05 Fun fact about Oliver Latta. Ben Stiller said in an interview that he found his work while scrolling his Instagram feed and thought it would be cool for his project, so he sent him a DM and asked him to do the intro for the show :D

@timbethea9705

The board is listening.

@ciscoserrano

Your outtie loves the sound of tritones.

@FlavinBagel

Per the podcast: They had Theodore ShapIro compose this theme early on in production. As a result, they actually played it on set in S1 to help establish the vibe for the cast and crew for some scenes. So in Severance, the theme song helped set the tone of the show itself, rather than the other way around!

@austin.valentine

The board appreciates your careful analysis

@Ben-rz9cf

I love it because you get that dissonant chord that sparks that thought like "something might be wrong here" followed by that little motif that almost feels like the spark of a thought process in response to it. Like the chord is something feeling wrong the subconscious and the motif is the conscious mind noticing it and thinking about it. All the while there is this sense of falling because of the descending chords, and a sense of something growing behind the surface as the music builds.

@TheTelefunken2

You know what? This is what has made me decide to finally watch Severance

@yarlodek5842

Severence is exactly what we needed. Something new, and something relevant, made by people who care. And the soundtrack is the best example of this.

@Slabsticktwitch

Fun Fact: The 3 tones of the melody (B, B flat and G) are the three 'ding' sounds the elevator makes, depending ... well, you said no spoilers

@Stephenholmgren2023

Severance will become the defining show of the 20's if we get 5 seasons, Kier willing.

@TheRachelCross

This work is mysterious and important.

@TheUngratefulSons

This dude's enthusiasm when demonstrating the dissonance totally made my day
