Most useful 29 minute of my life. Helped my PTSD tremendously in just one session
These types of videos need to be ad free.
That reprogramming can work with fear and bring the past to the present and knowing I’m safe . First time. Thank you
I have sent and referred this to SO MANY PEOPLE. I had a very traumatic experience several years ago that I didn't realize caused paralyzing fear in me and clouded how was able to handle any given situation in my life. Not able to work, leave the house too often or interact with people. It was hard doing this because the memory stayed at a 10 during the first video. The second time around I started coughing like crazy, we're talking hacking up lungs here😅. My son ran into my room to make sure I wasn't dying😆. I definitely felt energy moving out. I'm still probably in the 6ish area but the fact that it's moving out is such great progress. No clue why people don't try the download instead of complaining about ads. My daughter did EMDR with a therapist earlier this year and it was $150 for a one hour session. This video is free and my daughter said it was actually more helpful than the therapist that charged loads of money. Thank you so much for making this!!! The colored ball keeps me focused.... Keeps my mind from wandering
Dear creator of this video, thanks so much for providing a pretty nice EMDR tool. It doesn't function exactly like therapy, and I know you have a disclaimer that it isn't meant to be a replacement, but it still feels nice to be able to use it when therapy is not currently available to me. Sending my gratitude, and a big shout out to everyone who is navigating the dark right now. May you find your way!
Very effective...when I started at the beginning i felt overwhelmed of the emotions of remembering the traumatic event. i felt it was at an 8 and , as I followed the video it went to a 6...then the image and emotions began to soften/change and got covered in love & peace. New ways of seeing the images came...by about the 5th time of watching the ball the original disturbing image had completely changed to something I could handle and would say it ended at a 0. so awesome! Thank you for making this video!
This was my first time trying emdr and I'm happy this video exists free on YouTube! Thanks for posting!
OMG this is so amazing! I did it today around gaslighting and invalidation plus group bullying (narcissistic ex husband whom I co-parent with) and a situation that has had me stuck had been released. I'm so grateful and will be doing this as often as I can.
Every time i do this emdr session the days after i remember other experiences that i forgot! So i deal with a bad experience and after the session i remember an other one! Some of these experiences i never thought they traumatized me but they had an impact on me, and i truly love it, cause i usually forgot my past and my childhood.
This is SO helpful! I hope everyone who is lucky enough to stumble on this video gives it a try! I was using it to desensitize myself from a "bad scenario" that I created in my own head, and during this session I discovered a deep angle of why this "bad scenario" even occurred in my head and why I felt so threatened by it, tracing the source back to something in my childhood. Thank you for creating this. It is true that immediately following the session, your bad thoughts may get worse for a bit so definitely try not to think too much of your bad thoughts; those of you who are already in therapy or been on self-healing journey for a while, you know how to engage in your go-to techniques to handle upsetting thoughts. If you are very traumatized and you haven't been through any healing at all, you may want to try other methods of therapy first and not jump into the deep end with this video.
THIS IS AMAZING. It helped me root out a childhood trauma that has plagued me in different forms my whole life maybe. This feels so much better.
I can't believe how useful this was in uncovering negative core beliefs.
I have never done EMDR or any therapy for PTSD. I had several traumatic events happen to me from childhood into adulthood. When I recently lost my current mate and the love of my life, the trauma of losing him triggered past traumas/memories along with his loss. In an effort to be able to focus, pause the barrage of emotions and quit isolating myself, I did some research and ended up here. Today, I downloaded the link and did the 29minute EMDR session focusing on a horrific trauma as a teenager. I have never done anything like of this before. I was totally amazed at how calm I felt at the end of the session. The memory is vaguely there now, but not emotionally charged. I plan to work through each of these traumas with this video. Thank you to MindMotion for posting this!!
I use this video all the time and have for a little over a year. I have CPTSD. Me vs last year is a much more relaxed person, even if I still have anxiety. I've been able to process traumas in thirty minutes that I couldn't really process for years. Thank god for stuff like this
I got really bad issues and anxiety attacks, due to the fact that stress is a major factor to my issues. When the colour shifts to fast for me to say it in time, my stress levels rise sky high, this did not reduce in any way. Just got worse due to me got scared of not managing it. Had to say inside to calm down a bit. The very nice about this is to understand how much stress is the cause of my issues.
I´ve done this twice, last week and today and I feel so much lighter and relaxed. I´ve been dealing with a lot of anxiety and also grief. Thanks for posting this, it truly did wonders for my mental health.
This is the best EMDR video I’ve seen. Thank you so much
Thank you for your efforts and the free video. I found freedom from a trauma memory today by using this video. I will be using the video many times in my healing journey. Blessings over you.
