So are they admitting gender is a biological thing, not a “social construct”? Because “intersex” is a biological anatomy, not delusional identity.
“ How should we label them?” People.
(I'm female) if I were infertile and people used me as an argument to prove I was less of a woman I'd cry
The fact that intersex people don't want to be put in with the alphabet people should be a sign.
The correct statistic is 1.9%. About the same as red hair.
Intersex people most of the time want to be left alone
“Finger phobic” I’m dying
Hi, intersex woman here. Using intersex for the trans argument is so incredibly, and I rarely use this word, offensive. A mutation on a chromosome made me the way I am, not a f*cking “social construct”. These people are the “black” claiming to be the “white” or the “white” claiming to be the “black” and making it out as if they fit into some kind of grey area. I AM THE GREY AREA. And the grey area- the outlier- the anomaly- the deviation is NOT the standard by which the average majority is measured! These people need to STOP using genetic birth defects as a weapon for their off the wall arguments.
I also feel obligated to point out that, even w/ the intersex mutation, one sex will be more dominant that the other. Pelvis shape, muscle mass, & chromosomes will still be either male or female.
Hilarious! In his argument he even said that some people are born with the sex organs of ‘both’ genders!! 🤣
- "There's people that..." - "Are you one of them?" - "No?" - "Did they ask you to advocate for them?" - "No?" Stop using vulnerable people, or even normal people, as your means for justification. People have dignity; they're not your scapegoats.
Don't label me! Proceeds to label everything and everyone.
They even say that they don't want to be bothered by the trans community and yet the trans community is bothering them, wow
There's a rare chromosome anomaly in which a baby with XY chromosomes (so should be a boy) is missing enough of the Y chromosome that the baby develops physically as a girl. That kind of thing is exploited to say that intersex disorder is "natural". Some things that always get left out of the conversation is that most of those babies don't survive to birth and for those that do, the standard treatment is to remove their ovaries (which are almost always nonfunctioning) because they have a high risk of a rare and aggressive form of ovarian cancer. Those girls are, in a way, miraculous, and deserve compassion, but not to be held up as the standard of "natural".
How about nobody usurping the condition of infertility on women as an example of why men can be 'women'? Let's not let that keep happening, please!
In Pakistan our intersex people are called “khusra” and they have made it a point to say they are not transgender when some people with an agenda wanted to pull them into the discussion.
I knew an intersex person when i was a child. He was determined to be a boy at birth because he had male gen!tals but then at 12 he went through a female puberty and his chest grew and he looked more and more feminine. He kept living his life as a man at the end and didn't change a thing about himself
Just looked it up. 0.13% of Caucasians, and 1.4% of African Americans have more than 10 fingers. 0.018% of people are intersex. Which means a person is 10 times more likely to have 11 fingers than to be intersex, and yet for some reason, we have no problem saying people have 10 fingers, but when it comes to sex and gender "it's complicated" Well it's roughly one tenth as complicated as the number of fingers a person has.
As a person born with 12 fingers, im offended by all the glove companies in the world 😂
