I can't stand the rich influencers. I unfollowed all of them. There's no way I will be part of the audience as someone buys a 100k bag while the 'poors' like me struggle to pay the bills.
The billionaires could solve all these problems they've created, but they choose not to. It's sickening.
The irony is that rich people can afford to put the bigger, more serious energy-saving measures into place.
Is it just me, or is it that the more wealth inequality grows, the more the rich, and also all of society has the collective urge to show off items and goods that display wealth? I mean, in countries with high living standards and less income inequality like Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, and Norway, people feel less of a need to pursue such flashy lifestyles.
The audacity to see celebrities asking their followers to donate to xyz has always grossed me out.
And this is why many people say "eat the rich". Being rich itself is not wrong, but this bs is stupid and is borderline unethical.
I’m married but no children. Most of my immediate family has deceased over the past 7 years and I inherited a decent amount of money. I donated a lot to my cities local rescue mission to help the homeless and single mothers. The USA and new generation is declining drastically. Materialistic, narcissistic, and selfish people.
Being a billionaire, hell even a multimillionaire over 3 - 6 million would be so weird. At some point you have to ask yourself, "why do i need this much money? What good can be DONE WITH IT!?" We need new aspirations!
I remember when stan twitter was freaking out over Oprah and the Maui incident but they cry when we try to hold Taylor Swift accountable too, like...let's hold all billionaire idiots accountable please.
I think people DO deserve luxury, but I also think the word has been skewed. Luxury is sleeping in, having dessert, being able to say yes to your child, having the means to have more than the bare minimum. But now it's conflated with closets of Birkins and multiple million dollar homes. Lets not even get started on the fact that Hermes designs their bags so that you never need to buy a second one and people have CLOSETS of them.
The predictable ovine response being 'NONE OF YOUR PROBLEMS ARE CAUSED BY SOMEONE ELSE BEING A BILLIONAIRE!' ...actually ALL of our problems are caused by THE WRONG PEOPLE being billionaires.
Remember when Kardashians went on vacation in the pandemic…. While other people suffer to make ends meet.
Martha stewart purchasing an entire house for baskets is hilarious, powerful way to start the video. Honestly not surprised about Khloe and Kim Kardashian, they shouldn't be idolized by anyone. I think they're only in their place for looking down on others and being ignorant while being rich. "If you're rich, no matter how much your lifestyle greatly contributes to disasters, your wealth will always protect you from the consequences." I don't check up on celebrities so good to know about Taylor suing a student for revealing her being the biggest carbon polluter in 2022. Ultra rich people's fortunes are from greed, exploitation, hoarding resources, disregard for well-being of others. Love your commentaries and your haircolor, new icon looks great!
As an electrician, thank you for mentioning us ❤ another great video and thought provoking video.
💯 It always makes me sick when people look up to the billionaires and act like they got there on their own. A majority got there with help. A majority got there by not being good people. The ultra wealthy do not even want to interact with someone like me, and they avoid the "average" folks. It amazes me that they could never spend the money they have in a hundred lifetimes, but they still want more. It's bizarre to me.
in regards to the california fires...residents weren't able to check their houses and pets, yet mel gibson hitched a ride on a fire truck to get to his house, and televise it to the world...that was so disgusting, selfish and tone deaf
Another absolute banger of a video. So well researched, so well scripted, airtight argumentation - you really never miss!! Thank you for educating every time!
Ugh... sick... I appreciate the shout-out at the end! 🎉 Indeed, let's praise the working people that keep society running!
