God bless Gordon Lightfoot. I’m so sad to hear of his death. His music will live on forever.

@ryancarson1982

I'm 49 years old....I grew up hearing this man's music....I miss those good old days...and I will miss this guy along with it. Part of any journey is the end....and it's sad for the rest of us that must keep on....RIP Mr. Lightfoot

@NannettCepero

My favorite song by this treasure of a musician. It's raining here where I am, and I just read about his passing. Thank you for the beautiful lyrics and the music, and RIP.

@Germangirl1984

Everyone needs a rainy day person or two in their lives.  What a wonderful poet and singer Gordon has always been.

@barbarasylvain5060

As a 12-year-old, this was my first of almost all the Gordon Lightfoot albums and remains one of my favorites, if not the top one. On this rainy morning, I am remembering my record player and putting the needle on this groove--second song, first side--ad infinitum to hear this perfect song. Live long, Gordon Lightfoot!

@kimduckworth5047

I loved this in high school. Missed his concert because most of my friends liked rock and roll. Should have went by myself!!!

Loved his music in the 1970s; still love it. Yesterday something told me to stream Rainy Day People, and just now, from these comments, I learned he died three days ago. RIP, GL.
