@Finaius

This is the REAL Game of Thrones story, y’all! The Medici’s wild drama and scheming are basically GOT’s roots. Dive in, fam! 👑

@streetsmart_ke

2:41 "But ambition alone isn't enough. He needs money." Never forget that.

@ashborn9614

Medici history is basically like:
"Oh no, it's so over!"
"Hell yeah, we're so back!!"

@scottdeangelis5152

Just started “The Ascent of Money” man you are world class at turning history into documentary.

@sumankundu93

Medici was such a fantastic series.

@CrystalA.Vasquez

Everyone’s whispering about Hidden Codex of Wealth by Dorian Caine—and after reading it, I know exactly why. This book uncovers manipulative money secrets you weren't supposed to see.

@Thegreat033

Broooooo, I just read a book about them. So happy you did a video. There like zero documentaries on them. Truly powerfully people.

@arunaudi9768

This is the first Medici video that I’ve seen on YouTube that isn’t full of old money aesthetic BS. Actually informative of and interesting. Thanks.

@fabriziopastorino3792

as an Italian I suggest you end the story with the last of the Medici, Gian Gastone's sister, Anna Maria Luisa de' Medici (1667-1743), because when the Grand Duchy passed to the family of the Duke of Lorraine, it was the decision to sign the so-called Family Pact that is remembered. Anna Maria Luisa in fact drew up an agreement with Francis Stephen of Lorraine, signed on 31 October 1737, according to which the works of art collected by the Medici were delivered to the new Grand Duke on the condition that they remained forever tied to the city of Florence and the State of Tuscany («on the express condition that of what is for the ornament of the State, for the utility of the public and to attract the curiosity of foreigners, nothing will be transported or removed outside the Capital and the State of the Grand Duchy»). We owe to her that Florence has preserved, almost unchanged, the majority of its artistic, historical and cultural heritage. then you could talk about the other families, ISavoia, I Gonzaga, the ESTE, I FARNESE and others, good work

I never thought this day would come. Can't wait to finish work tomorrow and reward myself with this ❤

@FirstAllan2

“All she could do was bear ten children” is a wild way to phrase that.

@aungchoye

I really like your videos . I listen to them when I was cooking, walking my dog and brushing her.Thank you.

@Finaius

Clarification 3:37 - At the time, Cossa was Pope John XXIII, and later deemed to be an antipope. Then later on, there is aslo a Pope John XXIII in the 20th century.

@ayliea3974

The Medici mastered the art of power, but they also knew well the power of art.

@RaulEdu33

The generational conviction and ruthlessness of this family to keep hold of power is mind-bending. Veni, vidi, Medici. 😵‍💫
