iTero is amazing. Im a dental tech (in hopes to become a dentist in the future) and i do a lot of CAD/CAM scans of stubs made for crowns, inlays, onlays, abutments, you name it. We use 3Shape which is not bad, but ive noticed that 3Shape tends to lag and glitch out a lot. I haven’t heard of such problems with iTero yet.

Seems like the technology of 3D scanners should bring down the price. What do you charge for the crown on a molar? I got a dentist that doesn't charge me much but he doesn't do a very good job. He put the crown over the old amalgam fillings. Those feelings been there for a long time they may have Decay underneath them. Now I have a blue rim around my gums and they claim it's from the amalgam bleeding through, so now these cheap crowns may have to be cut off and redone by a professional dentist.

I have a great dentist however I’m having burning issues all around the crown #15 on the gums and some pain if touched. It’s causing crazy dry mouth issues in that corner. The tooth is root canaled. There’s no pain when tapping the tooth. I don’t know if there is an infection due to a hairline crack? I’ve had an endodontist check it and he didn’t really see an infection although offered to have it redone. The tooth below is an implant but was causing issues after 5 years with my side of tongue. I’m at a loss and a lot stress and anxiety on what to do next. I’m going back in tomorrow for the crown to probably be removed. I’ve never had a reaction to zirconium as I have a few of them. I’m just wondering if the crown was ordered wrong porcelain on metal? It’s almost causing a metal breakdown. I’m ready to pull out the implants and that molar above it. I’m sure there are no 2 molar partials for top and bottom? I’d be missing all four molars on left side. I wonder if there are others who’ve had to take out one side of molars?

That looks like the Glidewell Milling Machine software, we have one in office and it's not as accurate as Primescan/Primemill is. Seems to give a lot of false proposals.
